I don't see an option to create a sig banner, but I see that people have them. Is this something that is unlocked later on, or am I missing something obvious? Appreciate the help

You either create your own signature banner or you can have one created by someone else. You can post your own banner by selecting "Profile", followed by "Forum Profile", "Edit My Profile", and finally "Signature".

Thanks for the direction Dan. I notice my forum panel has several new options to update today that didn't exist yesterday, however updating a signature still isn't one of them. I am wondering if I need to post more before the option is available to me.

You currently have a Recruit status, you need to play your first few games to loose the status and become a full member (which gives you access to the whole forum to post on). You will know when you have lost your recruit status because you won't get a cadet bonus ingame anymore (I thought it was 20 games in). I don't know if Recuit status disables the sig part.

Being a recruit with less then 25 matches, disables some of the forum functions for you. The signature is one of them.

As soon as you have fullfilled your first 25 matches you will become a full member with acces to all forum functions, like signatures or the private messaging system.

What is the size in pixel of your image?
The forum has strict rules of it. It cannot be wider than 720px and not higher than 80px.
(And it can only be one image, one URL and not more than 4 lines)

What I'm wondering is where do I go within the forum to find someone that might make a banner for me?

Hm. I don't think we have a section for that.
You could try to contact someone with a cool banner and ask who made it and if he/she could help you with yours

Most forums I join have such a place. But that won't deter me, I'll ask around and while I'm at it possibly start a thread for matters such as this.
