Hey everyone,
just curious as to know exactly where I could purchase 3D Mech Models, so I can create a collection of all mechs that I enjoyed piloting. Not after paper models, just plastic or metal only.
I have looked on e-bay but to no avail. The range of size models I am looking for are 10cm to 45cm also depending on the mech tonnage.
Any suggestion? Plus, would they ship to Australia? Sadly, Local stores only have anima tech models, ie Warhammer, Voltron ... so that's not an option.

Technically all the models art work is copyrighted, (see the electronic agreement that each member agreed to) and there is only one maybe two companies worldwide that hold the Distribution rights for "merchandise". So the models you see in MWO can not be "Sold" anywhere. Even though many people have used the 3D assets from within the game and modified that for 3D printing, they can not "sell" those items with out violating the Law.

Designing and then having the parts printed is an expensive proposition, akin to "Movie Studio Models" and not something that you decide "yea, I've got a few bucks so y not". They are expensive.

Though 45cm is pretty large. The atlas is only 15cm tall, as the tallest standing mech... And you can't buy it.. but probably what you're looking for?
