I'm a little disappointed. I expected it to end around the waist. I think it'd look a lot better that way.

I think it will look better with more contrasting colors. It looks like Russ used a black undercoat with two red shades that are very close to each other. If you could see more of the contrast in the flame detail, it might look better. *shrug*

Black undercoat with an orange and a yellow would have been better like the old hot rods.

Ehh...It looks OK.
I like the Phoenix pattern better myself. Maybe the flame pattern will look better in different colors.

Maybe it's because I'm on my tablet... But I don't see any 'flame' pattern of any sort in that pic... My Firebrand has a 'flame pattern', that however is not one...

Looks ok, long as I don't have to pay for it, I might use it. Doubt I'll buy it for other mechs...maybe the Dragon.

anyone else find it funny how on twitter he says "buying into phoenix" instead of just buying phoenix? it almost sounds like we are getting scammed and these mechs are nothing more than large cardboard cutouts. when you use the phrase "buying into" you use it in a sentence like this: lots of people are "buying into" *enter scam here*.
