I really love the person who designed the hitboxes on the Pheonix mechs. They are perfect, seriously. If you know how to roll your torso and twist, you can quite literally, peel your armor like an onion. That's the way it should be.

I was wondering what are the chances we could get someone, i.e. the same person or team who designed the Pheonix Mechs and assigned their hitboxes to take a close look at the Orion. Please=) It really needs some love.

The Orion is one of my favorite mechs but lately I haven't even wanted to play mine because the hitboxes are so messed up.

the Orion CT does tend to absorb lots of fire, but it's not that hard to compensate for. you just have to learn when to commit to attacks and when to twist off (the side torsos and arms really do a good job of spreading out damage, but if you're late doing it, your CT will eat ****). It also helps to drop your rear armor for more front armor.

BUT, I wouldn't mind a smaller CT hitbox. :)

The Orion CT is hit from the side infinite...

And every Mech in the game has a crotch that counts as CT, which makes twisting even more irrelevant.

It just seems to me that the Protector and the other Orions didn't get the same amount of attention that the Pheonix mechs did in regards to hit locations. Granted the protector looks miles better than the Pheonix mechs, just not nearly as effective as the Shadowhawk or Thunderbolt, and it should be much better.
