Title: Massive de-sync on River City map.
Description: All participants in the match became de-synced while engaged in battle in various places around River City. We remained out of sync until I capped the base for the win(which took quite a while to register, then capped in large chunks, or jumps). I was able to hitscan(turn crosshair reticle red) my lasers across some of the mechs i saw which usually resulted in myself "teleporting" back to a prior position in an attempt to re-sync me.
Location: edit: date /time 10-19-2013, 6:45 am PDT River City, unknown if this occurs on other maps, the mode we were on was "Assault", I had selected "Any" as my option.
Reproduction Rate: I've never seen this before or since. I'm simply offering that it may need to be looked at to prevent in the future.

This has been happening a lot more recently in the mornings (here it is 5:10 am PST which is the same time zone that the PGI office is located in). A few days ago this was happening to my 4 man every other match.

Basically what is going on is that the server is having a hiccup and dropped the game, however, you client hasn't been told that so it keeps on chugging but it can't get any info from the other clients or the server so it just leaves the other mechs at their last known location with their last known animations. Presumably if someone had fired at the exact moment that the server borked than they would continue firing over and over. That would be funny to see.

The last time this happened in large amounts pgi discovered that there was a hardware issue with their servers, could be that's the problem again.

I spoke with a few of the players after the match as I found them in other matches, we all experienced the exact same thing. It wasn't isolated to me.

I didn't mean to imply that it was. I'm saying that the server it's self dropped the game and this would have happened to every player in the game for a random period of time.

Hate to ask, but have you also submitted a ticket with video, DXDiag, etc. attached? PGI tends to look at those sooner than forum posts, though it is the weekend, so response may be a little delayed. Good luck with resolution.
