Mechwarrior Online - Dragon

mwomercs.com

Scale: 1/60

Size: 19.5cm tall (to main mass)

Articulation free: Elbows, shoulders waist

Articulation glued: Ankles, Knees, Hips

Material: resin

Painted by: myself

Arms and legs detach from the main torso with a 90degree turn similar to the armorcast Atlas. Its been painted in default MWO red and given the shark mouth from the MWO concept art and I was asked to make it a look as if it had been on active duty. The red and the mech origin suited the Draconis Combine Sword of Light Brigade.

(IMW Atlas for scale)

CMDO in 3rd person OMG OP!

It was very hard to let this one go (The DRGN-5N was my main ride at the start of MWO open beta).

You can follow all my work at http://reversedisabled.blogspot.co.uk/
And see a collection of finished works at http://smtkelly.devi...lery/?catpath=/

That is a thing of beauty.

What's it cost to make one of those? And do you accept commissions? (And if so, please contact me).

I have a few designs that I would love to see what you are capable of doing with. (Though most of them I plan to 3D print, but still I have total love for the old school techniques like this)

you sir have talent, and lots of it!

i would love to see an AS7-D or a CPLT-K2. i think those two are the most good looking mechs in the game.

I love being able to see ANY mecha in 3 dimensions! The detailing is superb and I like the paint schemes on all 3 mechs. Just fantastic work! I look forward to seeing what you do in the future. Especially the Cent!

Realy...Awesome! Beautyfull!
Nice that chose the Dragon. One of the coolest mashines in the game. And very good MWO design.
Who much does it?? :)

Thanks for the replys :)

This one was 3D printed and hand painted. MWO mechs are very detailed to make then by hand to much of the similarity would be lost.

Currently working on the centurion this ones has allot more redsign work to get parts smoother and I'm alos going to use a new printer as the dragon required too much post print clean up which defeat the point when you printing to get fine details. I had some test pieces made and they look great

Simon no longer makes these models. Try Thingiverse for a dragon.
