I can't tell if I have just never noticed these before today, or if they're new, but I was just about to come here to ask the same thing. It looks like players with less posts tend to have a smaller number of dots?

Those are snowballs. How many times have you thrown a snowball on the MWO boards?

Now you know.

I think your signature gives a great reason for your strange and unfunny sarcasm.

In case you did not get it: This was a real question, go make fun in the right forums for that.

Well, it breaks the monotony.

Judging by the pic, it might have to do with LIKES or "hidden warnings" or matches played.

I'm not sure what to tell you other than it isn't given to ANY founders.

The number of marks is related to the number of posts.

The Founder tag takes the place of the marks. Why? Only people in the "Members" group get the marks. Founders are in a special group so they get their tag. Therefore, no marks.

The Pips, as the system refers to them, (Odd name. I'd have called them "chazzwazzers") are to do with Posting Count Ranks and are part of my ongoing maniacal experimentations. Founders do not get pips at this time, as the Founders Icons themselves replace these.

At this time there are no unique names associated with these ranks apart from the bottom rank (Rookie): Though we have been looking into possible naming standards, we also do not want this to encourage spam behaviour.

I like your name better. I nominate the top pip-count rank for Chazzwazzer!

Can we please NOT have this here? The number of posts has never been an indicator for quality. Having 3 icons for my profile is enough, I come here for information, the Christmas lights are in my cockpit ..

Just make it a parabolic distribution, where "lots and lots of posts" is actually a "lower" rank or whatever than median post counts.

And have it based on total forum posts; so if you don't post for a while, you can be promoted back out of the "OH GOD STOP POSTING" chazzwazzer title.

I'm down to like 5 posts a day average now. Quitting heroin was harder than this!

Pip, isn't that that English kid from South Park? Why the Devs encourage kidnapping that poor kid is beyond me but. . cloning him infinitely and encouraging people to kidnap as many as they can?

I mean sheesh, he's not a tribble after all!

I post about 6 to 20 times a day and you're still 3,000+ posts ahead of me.

Mine should count for double, they are long winded!
