I think there's quite a bit of server population. The long que times are due to the inefficient way the matchmaker works. MWO's top dawg players have been joking about huge q times even before 12v12, so it's not really strage that, if you're a bit high when it comes to ELO rating, you experience long waits.

Especially if you go in an assault mech as well.

To demonstrate this you can do a simple test:
- the matchamaker tracks ELO ratings seperately for each weight class. That is you have one rating for lights, another for mediums etc.
- observe the difference in waiting time between the weight class in which you have the highest W/L and the lowest.

I've only recently gotten into assault mechs and have been playing them tryhard, so waiting in my victor takes up to a several minutes. While the heavies and mediums which I used when I first started (and sucked) have virtually no waiting time (max 30 sec usually).

If LoL, with it's millions of players (and more efficient matchmaker) has longer q times at higher ELO ratings, how can you expect MWO not to experience the same effect ?

good points. and the diffreence between a minute or two and 30 seconds should not be a big deal lol. reall nothing to complain about. More people need to start playing 12 mans lets go!

The problem is people just lagging too much or losing connection too much.

Jumped on after about 3 months away from game. Not fond of meta at all right now. Am very close to uninstalling the game from my comp. Just not fun at all when a team sits in one spot all map and pop-snipes you all match .... I just up and left the first match I tried tonight when I saw it happening again. GG PGI, no more funds from this guy.

Claiming to uninstall a game is like watching a movie where a character pulls back the hammer on his handgun manually to indicate that "he means business" by means of the click sounds it makes, but (usually) never fires, a meaningless gesture since the gun is good to go without doing that.

The ability to re-install the next day also devalues the whole " I am so dissatisfied that I will uninstall this game ". At least "I'm done playing this game with this game for the time being/forever" at the least sounds better.

really? name some, cause I've clicked on some random profiles, and they basically didn't post any forums posts after january. I'd like to try and contact them, if you could name some still playing that would be great. I would appreciate it.

I've a added a bunch of the verizon fios guys to my friends list, i believe, and haven't seen any online yet, nor have I ever seen any of them in game.

Yes really.
Everyone on the first page of that thread has logged on in the past 3 weeks apart from 2 people.

I uninstalled last week, got tired of teams just doing the whole line up and snipe with ac20's the whole match got too boring, and frankly just tired of the game, been playing it for over a year now and ready for something better. I'm good at the game I have an overall good score on kdr and times I win a match, but it's not enough anymore. I might come back when cw in actually working, but by then will be lots of cool games for the next gen consoles not likely to care and by then wouldn't be surprised if mwo just shuts down.

This again is getting away from being constructive. You guys who don't like the JJ sniping... there are lots of other fun things you can do.

With each weight class. Look at all the shadowhawks. Mediums being spammed and being very effective is something very much new.

I guarantee that whatever the type of combat you like, it's present at this time and you can be effective, with the right build ofc.

You will learn to play how PGI wants and learn to praise them or else the white knights will mock you!

Too many nerfs. I haven't use Mechlab in about three weeks. No point. No point in buying new Mechs either, the weapons I would put in it are homogeneously nerfed by damage, so nothing to gain. Restore weapon functionality and Mechlab has it's purpose of granting a tactical edge restored. If you do that the game will become more challenging though. Players will have to start thinking again.

Others will not and QQ across the forums

I love how Deathlike somehow finds and likes every single reply anywhere that's negative towards PGI. Deathlike, have you nothing better to do? :P

Nah, you have Deathlike wrong. He's equal opportunity. If you make a good point, he'll like it.
It's just that you could swing a dead cat and find 500 negative posts on this forum.
Most come from ignorance, some out of spite from some imagined offence, few have a legitimate gripe.
I've made a "living" mocking those in the first two categories.

Creators? you are confused again, PGI did not create anything, they just repackaged, and did a lousy job on the wrapping.
