Then again, I've just proven your point. Pumping out more mechs = more cashflow therefore drop "maintenance expense" (fixing the game) which is very common corporate practice. File for chapter 11, keep the profits, start a new company, new name, fresh start.
Alternatively, they can decide to focus on long term return on investment by building up their "Intellectual Property" and still be around without a bad name isntead of focusing on short term unsustainable returns.

You act like they weren't going to pay those people anyways. Since they were going to be paid anyways, no resources were taken away from other areas.
That's exactly his point. They are a company, they can fire people they don't need and hire people they need.
What he doesn't understand, is that from a short-sighted business perspective, they are doing really well. Why do hard stuff when you can do easy stuff and get almost the same amount of money?

Yes you can. Or alternatively, you can have a real plan and not have to do any of that.
To be honest, if you took all the money that has been thrown at MWO and hire just freelance designers, graphic artists, programmers, subcontract out the servers and networking issues to Cloud (I don't care if it is Software/Infrastructure/Platform/Technology as a Service), you will get definitely design a much better game than keeping incompetent people on staff.

That's the plague of our modern economy. Businesses who are self-entitled.

Only really interested in the lights and possibly the mediums and since your packages go 1light, 1L1M, 1L1M1H, 1L1M1H1A then 2L 1M 1H 1H instead of weight wise aka 2 lights in a package I think ill avoid the bonuses and just buy mechbays (If im still around in 6months that is)
But the money grab is silly when the game is in shambles.
It goes 1L-1M-1H-1A-2L-2M-2H-2A.
But, yes. I see your point. I for one would like to pick and choose which chassis I buy.

Honestly if there would have been another mecha game- pgi couldnt do that. They are the only good Mechgame developer atm. They just abuse it super harshly. I just feel poor for all the Mw community- who have been grown up with mw and who basically love mw
I dont care about mechs that much- if the hole money making gets disgusting (it is at the border to be that)
i ll just play another free to play title like i already do by playing war thunder which is 10x better than this game already. More content, cheaper prizes and developer doing great efforts to give the community even more content.

This ultimately costs more. This is basically hiring contract employees which always costs more than using in house. It's something big companies can do quite often as they have the money to burn. A small company it is something that they really cannot afford.

we have only repeating deathmatches, in random constelations, with no real meaning,
if you win or lose doesnt matter ...
I hope some company will buy the great artwork and use it to build a great game.

Load up a Battlemaster like this: BLR-1G The Sterilizer
And then alpha-strike the first Clanner you see on your team right in the rear CT, or perhaps head if you can walk in front of him.
