Off the top of my head firstly you should move that ammo out of your arm and then strip it to its bare minimum so as to give the façade that they are armored. After that you move the 19 points from each arm to the respective legs since they're woefully under armored. If you don't mind switching those srm6's to2srm4's and srm2's it would really help.

~From switching alone your srms are harder to crit
~you save some when that torso side is destroyed
~and they also fire while giving you the possibility to chain fire for a consistent attack on an enemy while your ac/20 reloads.

I really recommend a different build since this is more of a striker than support but you can use this more efficiently.

I would run that on the H with 3x SRM4 instead.

Don't ''support'', fight!

Personally I would not have a Mech that can only do damage at short range. It significantly limits your ability to get in the fight.

But to improve your proposed build:

Swap the 2 SRM6s for 3x4s due to the tighter grouping and faster refire and use of CT slot.
2 jump jets is enough, use the extra ton to maximise your torso armor.
Move ammo from arm to head.
Move a little more armor from the now-unused arms to the legs.

I have actually been trying to figure out how i want to run my 2d2. These have given me some ideas, but i really like the close range support idea.

Not a bad idea in theory. I'm going to recommend you swap to Streaks because they pair very well with it.

But dear lord man don't underarmor your legs that much, esp. if they have ammo in them.. and always max your chest armor!!

I'm not even kidding when I say you made your 'mech vulnerable to a one-shot kill. It's one very bad thing.

Give this a shot for infighting with a 2D2:
Light Hunter

For an AC/20 infighter that's quite potent (2D2, works on all):
AC/20 Hawk
Note: Your entire right side is useless on this build, so use it to soak damage.

This might be more along your original lines (but doable without paper armor):
Support Shadowhawk

PS: Artemis speeds up Streak lock, even though it's not listed. Always invest in Artemis.
