2x UAC5
3x MLAS
2x SSRM2
Endosteal, double heat sinks, standard reactor
(armour and reactor need some tweaking)

I was going for an allrounder that can take on assaults and on lights.

So far, I'm using AC20+3MLAS+LRM10 with mediocre results: He has a mighty alphastrike, but the downtime leaves the enemy too much time to shoot back. I usually destroy or cripple 1 enemy-mech and get destroyed right afterwards.

What's your take on the above config?

Based on your build i can suggest trying out ac5s' instead of uacs' and change the streaks for srm4. The ac5s' are not that slow and the srms allow you to fight even when there's ecm. Your acs' and lasers should be enough against fast, light mechs unless you have high ping.

I'll probably give that a try, although if I really wanted 2 UAC5s I'd go for a Jager with 2 UAC5 and 4 MLAS.

The Orion-P build I've enjoyed are AC10+PPC+2 large laser or LBX10+ALRM15+2 large laser, both with a 325XL
