Nobody pilots an urbie for the speed, but the firepower. =)

I never see a reason to run my Firestarter over 100kph, the amount of boom (for a light mech) is far more beneficial to my team then another 4 medium laser commando.

Call me crazy but this is exactly the kind of Heavy Combat light mech I have been looking for.

and ecm version would have been okay as long as it didn't have a ton of streaks too.

This is what I am thinking of running to harass slow heavies and assault mechs when I can get the game to run.
Ember
I figure that the Flamers can keep them uncomfortable and the MLs can poke holes while the MGs exploit them. If I get bored with the Flamers (blasphemy on a Firestarter) I can replace them for 2 more MLs.

Haha, when was the last time they introduced an ECM capable mech anyway? Wasn't it the freaking Cicada? I think what happened was that ECM spent so long as an "I win" button and inspired so much (justified, at the time) rage that PGI eventually got the idea "holy cow people really really hate ECM for some reason" pounded into their thick skulls, where it remains firmly lodged to this day, even though ECM has been nerfed quite a bit and is no longer really all that overpowered any more.

5 DHS (it comes with DHS that is why)

ECM is too controversial for the most controversial mech ever. But I am glad, because ECM is a crappy mechanic as implemented.

I totally forgot about that one! Awwwwwww man! I saved a screenie but do not have a way to upload it. Anyway... 274 damage out of a max 280. 3 kills (backstabbed a damaged Spider, facialed a damaged Phract, and facialed a BJ), 2 Assists (Jager and Atlas - Atlas really messed me up but teammates got it), and 4 components destroyed.
