The devs know and are working on it.
However, you are correct. If you have Artemis, then the module won't actually work.

Idiots who keep running out behind me and trying to shoot the enemy but end up shooting me. learn to drive aim and shoot morons!
The new mech factory map is broken and it just highlights people do not know how to brawl, instead walk into and get in the way of friendly's shooting them.

I've done this. Oh wait I was in my Atlas and killed them. I love going mano e mano against a DW when I'm in my Atlas. one on one I can take them 9 times out of 10.
