yeah more assaults= more people hiding in the back. figured i'd bring out the LRM mediums today since brawling with all that tonnage out there is not a good idea. couldn't shoot much of anything thanks to the fact everyone stood around waiting for someone to peek. anyone who advanced got slaughtered.

though it was kinda fun on one match in polar with 3 lrm awesomes and me- we won 12-0. usually i'm on the other side of that.

Oi! I just checked out the assault leaderboards and they are going to nerf my Kodiaks so hard when this event is over Probably explains why I was having success in them though

On the bright side, maybe it will lead to a little love for the Zeuses.

Had a terrific one in group queue a couple hours ago. "Hey guys don't leave the assaults behind!". Out of 8 assaults there was 3 in the back. The rest were in the front (or the two in the middle). The ones in back were a Stalker, Highlander and HGN 2c. The ones in the front were the same exact mechs. The two in the middle were an Atlas and a Dire. Yep, we left you behind while you were being little giggly schoolgirls on TeamSpeak... Also your 3 assaults didn't break 200 damage and we lost.

Just got God-Awful Facepalming Matches in my Clan Alt Account (I Make this to play with my friends who still new to this game btw).



So anyway, I'am ride a Timber Wolf C and I'am a Heavy only in my team (If I'm remember correctly) But Oh my God the amount of coward is astonishing really BAD these day. Like this I'm SACRIFICE MYSELF into Domination Circle. BUT IN THE NAME OF HOLY KERENSKY ON ROLLER SKATE my teammates play really terrible in Assaults Mechs. Standing still, Peek a Poke with Long Range Weapons like LRMs and Lazors refuse to push or GET IN the Circle. Just look at My Score it's shameful on this God-Awful roflstomp.










Then Second game is also Domination in Crimson River and I'm still with team full of Spineless Assault Cowards that always Peek a Poke in Background refuse to get in Circle. JUST LOOK AT THE MINIMAP, It's depressing. I'm tired of these Stupidity today I'm Gonna play some relaxing Anime Korean MMORPG to cooldown myself.

so i fired up my trial account. forgot i had a bunch of unactivated premium time, which started when i logged in grrr. but then this account is strictly for trial mechs so what does it matter? the current crop of trials is pretty good or maybe the current crop of assaults is not so good. funny thing is this account, were i only play trial mechs, is almost out of tier 4. all my other accounts are so deep in tier 5 i will never get out. maybe that is the secret to becoming tier 1, only play trial mechs

So many people in assaults hanging back, utterly failing their team, then when they do move with the intent to parasite open mechs they fail hard .

It's just so so bad this weekend.

The really sad thing is my alt account is 94th , in Victors that are stock.

I was spectating a Kodiak 3 the other day. It was running 4 LBX 10 and hanging all the way in the back with untouched armor everywhere but one arm. It never went anywhere near the fighting until there were 2 enemies left. But by then it couldn't get there in time. He did 50 some damage. The whole match!

wait times for assaults are ridiculous

and that makes it even more puzzling that there are people who will make the conscious decision to join the queue, wait 5 minutes, get in match...than hang 500m behind the team in their LRM atlas and then ***** that the team is terrible because they didn't tank damage for them and hold locks..while they did 100 damage in their 100 ton mech

hey now don't forget the green circle emits a mech corroding gas which wipes a mech out in seconds. I mean look how long you last whenever you dare to venture inside it. naturally our rear guard- I mean assaults don't want to foot the repair bill to replace all that assault class corroded armor so they sensibly stay at least 1000m away at all times to keep their paint jobs clean.

on the plus(?) side I got my dual PPC phoenix hawk (cause I ran out of energy builds for them) in a match just now, stayed on the outside, poked away at mechs who didn't even fire back at me. killed 2 mechs, was barely touched. figured I finally had my first good long range build (non LRM division) match (due to a combination of poor eyesight and partial colorblindness I can't realistically snipe because I can't see the enemy mech quick enough without a dorito aid). wait for the scoreboard... 2 kills, 5 assists and...116damage I guess I missed a lot...

I had a round that I just said screw it, I am not paying attention to the circle. We lost to cap. No one else could be bothered to get in it either. I figured it was better to get a decent score and cut my losses than to go die early by myself in the circle.

Somedays I just feel ashamed that I mostly pilot assaults. What a stale *** meta it's been over the past week. They don't even bother MOVING on frozen city, just sniping across base to base for 7 minutes before someone dies. Then they start waddling across.

4 grid squares. That is how far back 4 of my teammates stayed away from the frontline of the battle until the score was 5-2 and I called for them to group up. Then the trickled in and slowly fed themselves to the amassed enemy one at a time. I just...I don't know...

its so easy to get kills as a light now. all the damn snipers got too little awareness about their backs.
