every once in a while, this game rewards you in tremendous ways...

I'm in a hunchie IIC-B... SRM6A x4 and an ERPPC

moving around, no sign of the enemy..no visuals, nothing on seismic..

come up on a hill, start moving up over it, just as an enemy Oxide crests the hill... 50m from me...I launch off all the missiles and the ERPPC... BOOM!! dead, headshot... enemy oxide didn't even get a shot off

Darn you Fox with a Shotgun. I had time for 1 round this morning and you show up in it...finding a Whiner in a round spells certain doom for play quality

I had some time to sneak in a round on my laptop earlier today and still needed a kmdd in a heavy so i took out my 6 ml/3 asrm 6 Warhammers. Unfortunately something wasn't working right and my fps was stuck at 6-8 frames, which is totally unplayable since not even your buttons respond properly let alone trying to aim. But, fortune smiled on me. As I stuttered my way out of the tunnel on Crimson an enemy Griffon fell from the sky and landed right in front of me (like literally touching me) with his back to me. So with all the button mashing gusto of a 4 year old playing super smash bros. I managed to get a full alpha into his back and watch him crumple to the ground, earning a solo kill and the kmdd I was looking for. I was laughing so hard it was ridiculous

Must be the KMDD event causing some light pilots that I don't recognise behaving in the most obscenely stupid ways possible.

Like deliberately standing in front of your dual PPC shots at close quarters because they really want their ACH with 6 SPL to get that legged locust.

Sorry, but I'm not going to stop my shot for an idiot. Both the locust and the ACH bit the dust.

Wow haven't posted in a while as I seldom obs nowadays. Just saw 1 mech suicide via override and overheating away from the field. And another mech spamming lrms under 90m... lolwut?

I really must stop coming to the forums, and just play the damn game when I want to, and stop when I don't, I'm sure i'll be a lot happier.

And when I mean overheat, I mean he deliberately ran away in the middle of the match, hit override and kept firing into the ground until he blew up. Ridiculous eh?

I have LITERALLY wiped out lances of heavies, assaults, and mediums in that nasty beast. Mainly back when it had the god tier quirks (+50% range, -50% duration)

so im trying to hop back in to the game... had a few games yesterday.
no the most terribad experience, tho i didnt have to high expectations.
after ~15 games my team finaly won a match!

...so it cant be "team", it must be "me"?
should i even continue playing and cause so much frustration to other players?

Only 3 of us, Me (Centurion), an Artich Cheetah, and a Thunderbolt that only go in the circle and we lose badly after that.

Had a game of conquest today where our teammate went around legging allied mechs. I have no idea why he did that because he didn't say anything in comms. Really messed up my game.

Ergo, people complain about how bad their team is before the count downs finished, people with viop turned off that can't be bothered to type watch my back, ***** about people not watching his back, because the other 11 are clearly mind readers.

Yay I've managed to block 3 people this weekend and I'm on a weeks leave, so by the end of it, I might have reason to block everyone

We had a player who spoke his language (I understand it a bit), used taboo (worse and stronger than the "f" word) words every second, basically turning it into an adult VoIP chat, and then attacked a player (me) with his overly abusive speech in HIS language (I understood it). His artificial manner of making his voice lower and slower was sounding like a man trying to be more than he is, but that did not matter: he was reported. I could not reply to him (I have to follow the rules of the game) and that hurt. I hope PGI does something with that.

What do you usually do when your hands are tied like that?

I got my KMDD in my first match with my rubie today. we had a disco so I just waited around the corner til the fish...er locust was reeled in. played light circle of death except with the power of urbie I kept him in my firing sights the entire time. after stripping most of his armor he tried to run but friendly popped up and the locust just popped.

the whine: why don't I think to do this all the time??

also on the plus side I actually got complimented for "carrying" the team in my Butterbee. conquest- our lights ran off and got killed by their whole team so it was 1-4 before most of our side saw anyone to shoot. some thought we already lost. then they kept straggling back one by one while we stuck to their starting side of the map (nascar FTW!). i'd just alpha anything that peeked over the ridge. 4 SRM6s hurt. got killshot on a Battlemaster after playin circle of death for a bit- he was nice enough to overheat with an orange CT

we were down 1 mech I think at that point down 100 on points. I see four of their last 5 in the vally below so naturally I charged. timby and EJ had their backs to me so an alpha each, then a hunchy IIC took off my ear from behind. did twisty mctwister and saw red CT on timby. alpha-almost dead timby- lose other ear fire MLs dead timby.. someone else took the hunchy and 4th was a lasercrow (I always do double takes when I don't see a streakcrow). exchanged fire, all I had was my CT MLs (std engine or i'd have died a while ago). he had red CT too. dead lasercrow. we flipped the caps and won. 3 kill , 4 assist 2KMDD and 1 solo kill, 670ish damage which wasn't even tops on the team (someone else had 750) but teammate in a still alive at the end phrat going on in chat on how I carried the team and we wouldn't have won without me. I was thinking to myself "i just finished off mostly dead stuff..." but I guess it looks good when you see two mechs taken out in 30 seconds or so....with 2 MLs...

whine- why can't I do this every match instead of my normal 100-200 dmg since I hit T3 (waves aside the unrelated part of mostly playing phoenix hawks during this time)?

this game is literally nothing but ******** now. nothing but **** teams, crap matchmaking. nothing else but KDK3's or ****** snipers. done with it finally.

PGI done everything to kill this game and i truly hope they go up in flames. this game never been worse. never.

I am so bad at this game I have resorted To meta or LRMS just to keep from being a liability to my team. Anything else and I am generally in the bottom 2 or 3 on the team. After 2 1/2 years of playing I still suck.
