God this could be long if I wanted to sit here all night.
1) People not using their R key to target. Doesn't matter if you don't have LRM's it's a team game and it helps your team.
2) People who have all of their weapons in group 1. Lrms, medium lasers, uac everything and then wonder why they shot down on the second shot. ps its called an alpha strike and it has it's own key (\). Pt the different ranged weapons in different groups all ready.
3) AFK's (nough said).
4) People standing still to shoot, because they haven't spent any time in the training grounds practicing to shot on the move. Use the fn training ground all ready. For gods sake move don't be a sitting duck target.
5) Assault pilots who think they are scouts (OMG enough all ready). Go running off alone and than ***** because no one was there to help your dumb ass.
I think thats enough for now I may return later to add an addendum if someone else doesn't.

I suck at light Mechs but I am still putting my time in on the testing range. I just seem to have trouble hitting anything but the broad side of the mountain.

Braving the outbreak of Rambotardia as everyone thinks they're the hero going to get 40 kills and 50000 assists this game, with a fatal allergy to teamwork and the R key. Then upset about the team "stealing" his kills as he racks up an impressive 78 damage, and 2 assists and a team kill before being snowed under in his Dire Whale in the first 3 minutes because he never heard of cover, torso twist or how to not shoot his own team

I disagree there Aliisa.
The staggering display of selfish play I witnessed last night truly shocked me.
In every single game I had friendlies deliberately blocking me, using me as a shield.
In every single game I had friendlies stepping in front of me to prevent me shooting.
In every single game I had friendlies deliberately not pressing R to make sure no missile carriers could take "their" kill.
In every single game I had friendlies using team mates as bait, so they could leech free shots off.
In every single game I watched friendlies let a team mate die, but weaken said enemy enough so they could take the kill shot.


Greed is the ugliest human motivation-and challenges like this aimed at the section of the playerbase it is, only highlights it.

Kam, let me tell you, it has been deplorable.

See, I play to be a team player because if you win, you get the assists. You know that for when we were running together more often. What is not understood is that kills and damage will come if you HELP your teammates. But too many want to be Rambo. They want to kill them all and be worshiped.

Currently I sit with only 4 qualifying matches because people don't want my help or to help me. This is the curse of Derptown. It is why it earned the name Derptown and self based challenges exacerbate all the worst behavior there.

Seems like every team I've been on today is extremely timid, extremely slow to react, and demonstrates absolutely zero trigger discipline....all are willing to shoot through a teammate to try to secure that kill shot on the enemy

So, [Name Withheld].... thanks for cussing me out for being the LRM boat and acting like an LRM boat.
Oh, BTW.... I did tons of damage in that match, got on 10/12 kills, and even finished off the last enemy..... brawling.... in an LRM w/Artemis 'Cat. Against an Adder.
While the 2nd to last guy left on our team did nothing.

PS: since you were watching me, calling me a coward for not running headlong into the fray, you should have noticed I was only fitted with 2 ER LL's for close-in fighting. Not exactly a BrawlCat, there.
Next time you want to comment on someone playing their role the way they're supposed to, learn how to play the game, period.

some people must have second accounts just to make the top competition teamkill alot...
hell lately i had to teamkill so many teammates going after my back.... its absolutely crazy.
just had a spider 5k shooting my rear for no reason. screenshotted him doing it and killed him as my rear structure was orange...
i dont get it.

why is that stuff happening so much?

Yesterday afternoon was baller. It seemed like (with a few exceptions, apparently to keep my karma up), teamwork was awesome, everyone was spot-on, we had some amazing slugfests and some really close matches.
Last night and all day, today, though? Nobody's spotting. I'm dropping targets as soon as I launch my LRMs and/or targets are held until almost dead, then all the spotters switch targets. Teams are letting the enemy mob in on the boats... nearly every match, I've been bumrushed by half the enemy team.

I'm going to just take my 1400 points and rest on my laurels. See you all when the challenge is over. I'm gonna go play [a certain spaceship-based MMO that shall not be named] the rest of the weekend.

PS: PGI.... good effort. Thanks for the awesome game. Thanks for trying to provide content. Still love MWO.... buying my Loki/Hellbringer pack on payday.

This a hundred times over.
Just been on my clan account, and I had to lead the charge in my.....adder. I had to take on 3 mechs solo on one leg because my heavy and assault team mates wouldn't push them-we had 3 more mechs alive than them......even managed to kill one of them....
Not one of them even had the backbone to speak up for themselves.
