I would actually suggest the jenners.
Oxide with streaks and bap super easy and fun and almost always a useful mech.
D and F then give you a nice mix pew pew and pew/missiles.
fast but not crazy fast, jets for later improvement and armor to survive some shots.


Centurions all the cents are good outclassed by the hawks/kints/griffons in the specialist roles but cents are usually tougher, no jets to worry about and mediocre speed to excellent speed.

This might sound like a strange suggestion but go with the Quickdraw-5k. I would look at this build http://mwo.smurfy-ne...6c0ff3ffe656539.

It will have speed similar to a fast medium, even more if you went through the terrible task of eliting them. Its all laser and will pack a little more armor than the mediums. Not to mention you can tell her its the equivalent of a unicorn because so few are seen. ;) I'm sure how heat effective it would be in practice, but you could drop a large laser for a medium laser and maxed out armor.

I'd got with a BJ-3, as you can run it with a 235std with 6xMlasers and jumpjets. Or you can start her with the BJ-1X, which has 8 energy hardpoints and no jumpjets, but an engine cap of 295.

4 of the Cicada variants have 4 or more energy hardpoints, and the 3M has a ballistics hardpoint and ECM.

Personally, I think the Cicada is a good mech, although many disagree.
