That is an incredible deal, actually. You get $30 in premium time, three mechs, three bays, 3 Warhorns, etc. it is a very, very good deal, unless you are a Clan player, and even then it is a good deal if you do not have 2,700+ hours of banked premium time still, and nothing to spend cbills/xp on...

Yeah, if you look at the closest MC package of 6500 for $30...

You get 2 months of premium...that's 5000 MC. That equates to $23.
You get 3 mechbays (granted, filled with urbies). That's another 750 worth of MC. Taken out of the 6500, let's call that $3.50.

So, aside from the premium time and mechbays, you're getting 3 mechs, 3 warhorns, 3 beer steins an expensive MODULE and some badges for the grand price of $13.50.

I've seen WAY worse deals.

It is a decent deal looking at the regular costs for the items offered. Now if you are patient and wait for deals and sales, then it is almost tied in costs...except for the titles and steins.

But the REAL thing is that regardless of whether or not you think the Urbanmech is a weak "joke" mech or an elite mech, the story is really about how this community has influenced the game, and that PGI does listen! It does take time (which is what you get with a F2P game), but it will happen.

This means eventually we may get the Thug, Hussar, Dervish, Flea, Champion, Black Knight and maybe....just maybe....the Unseen mechs one day. I would say if you want to help this continue, then just get the $20 version of this. Say thank you to the company. ENCOURAGE THEM TO LISTEN TO US.

i just imagine a 12vs12 urbie match... on alpine. ending 0:0 because no one managed to get into firing range before game time ran out....

I remember watching a 1 v 1 between a Wolfhound and an UrbanMech in MW4. The guy in the Wolfhound claimed he couldn't get clean shots on the CT of the UrbanMech because he didn't know which way it was facing. That's got to be worth something in a brawl? Perhaps not.

I notice the maximum engine size is down as 60. That's like a whole new engine size just for him.

The max is undecided.

The urbs has always come with a STD 60, and yes they had to specially code it in just for the Urbanmech.

Personally, I hope s few other things are able to take it (or even a STD80 if they grace us with it)
