We, the devs, have reverted back our forums to the way they should be.

This was to undo some damage from splitting the forums up and fracturing the community.

Ohhhhhh.....that was the thing that fractured the community. That wasn't high on my list until i took to time to really think about it and now, it's still not very high on that list.

You Devs are a special kind of silly...

The community wants you to be honest about your commitments and deliver what you promised (or at least tell us what you can deliver)

The community wants you to actually Listen to over 20 years of hardcore Battletech knowledge, and at least consider our views on some of these arbitrary implementations of half fixes.

The community wants you to stop making excuses

and I am sure I could come up with a billion more wants, but I have to work to earn money.

Peace Out

You usually consolidate forum sub-groups when your overall forum traffic decreases.

EDIT: Just saw Kyle had explained it above, sorry.

Yeah...this is TOTALLY the reason the community is "fractured"...

Has nothing to do with the fact that you've missed every milestone delivery date, or that you gouge your community for ingame purchases, or that you don't put out enough content other than mech's to grind and buy, [ie. maps? game modes?], or the fact that you don't QAQC ANY of your supposed "fixes" before unleashing them on the community.

No it's absolutely the forums thats just messed it all up.

It would've been better had you not gone Free to Play, took your time and released a full fledged game at $60 with all the content. Heck even if you released more mechs afterwards, at least we'd have a complete game to play, with all the game modes and promised content and maps. Instead of this half finished beta product you call "live". And it's not even the entire companies fault, it's piss poor management that has crippled this game and is driving it into the ground. I hope someone buys you out for as low a cost as possible and decapitates the management while leaving the other parts intact to further this game along it's path. You had such potential, but with each ball drop you only worsen your appeal to existing and new gamers alike.

But yes, console yourself with the fact that the "Forums" *problem* has been fixed... :(

To be honest:

Everything is fine except the "fan creations" forum.
Because everything is just bashed together, good threads/posts get buried under videos, fan fiction or other stuff.

Would be nice if the Fan Art Forum could be like it used to be.

That kind of thinking will get you exiled to The Island™!
