I would suggest you place TAG on it's own button, place it in a group that doesn't chain fire, and/or place it on every weapon group you can. (AKA: I'd have it in with your LRMs as well, as if you have direct line of sight and shooting anyway...)
If you have a mouse with a scroll wheel, I might suggest making the scroll wheel (scrolling it) be your zoom (if possible) and have the scroll wheel button (when you press it in) become your LRM button. You can also possible change LRMs/TAG to another keyboard button, such as numberpad enter.
I'm sure if you asked around, someone could provide you with a macro for the TAG so it would always be left on... (I do not have this information and do not use it myself. Actually, many of my mechs don't use TAG.)
I also, personally, wouldn't be running with 3 LLs and would have two LLs and possibly something else. Personal taste that is. To each their own on that one.

I don't know if you could spare the tonnage, but 2 LLs and a PPC (for two more tons) might be better for you, as there would be no ghost heat and similar ranges? This would open a non-ghost heat alpha if you desired. (But be careful of the PPCs minimum range.)
And chain fired 3LLs is good steady damage, but an alpha of 2 LLs will deal it's damage faster overall. At least from my own experience. (Do what works for you though.)
There is a way to get a free macro which can be used to "always press 6", instead of a toothpick which might fall out or damage your keyboard. (Or heaven forbid you need to type in something like "Enemies at E6"... ) I do not have where to get this program though, so I am of very limited help here.
