If it had an additional laser hardpoint on the head for tag, it would be perfect.

ECM cicadas, ravens and commandos are tough to acquire ssrm locks on, even with bap.

That's why you carry a PPC

Smurfy says that narc tube is still 1 missile. You sure you're mounting it in the correct torso side?

I equipped one ALRM15 in each torso and tested in game (TBT-7M). 30 missiles fired at the same time.

More useful version... the Hunchback is literally a HUNCH... I can crit those 2 LRM10's in moments, and the 4 lasers are pretty bad at deterring light's away. I've ran 2 SSRM's on almost everything I could and it gets the light's killed, the Hunchback will flounder with that Hunch, XL all the way in the Treb!

Treb has larger profile. My Hunchy has 2*LRM10 + 5 ML, standart engine. K/D ratio > 2.

I have not bought this and probably will not for some time not owning Trebs now.

But if it helps, I have run 2 builds in the Griffin-3M with similar hardpoints.

My first was the 2LL & 4Streaks mentioned earlier for this Hero. This type of build will run hot in close range using all weapons, LL on Chain and Streaks on Alpha. It is also the only Mech I drove that came close once to breaking 1000 damage on Alpine.

My next was 2MPL, 3 Streak & 1ALRM10 for range while closing. Very effective even the MPL that is considered the weakest Pulse, usually reliable Damage and K/D output.

If I were to make a LRM boat, I would aim for 1ALRM20, TAG, ML/MPL and some amount of Streaks, 720-900 LRM ammo (4-5 tons) should be all that is needed.

I'm using the 2LL, 4SSRM build for this mech. It plays like my shadowhawk, Worth it for the c-bil bonus and because I like trebs.

I don't know why so many people complain about the size of the Treb. It's not an issue. In fact with a 300xl, I'll run circles around Hunchbacks with their silly 275 max engine limit. Trebs have great hitboxes and are insanely maneuverable with a 300 engine or larger. Use that height to you're advantage. You can see over terrain where shorter mechs can't.

Honestly how does the mech play for people. I am on the fence for buying once since I like trebs more than shadowhawks.

Hey people. I have bought the Loup de Guerre Mech last day. I'm a newbie so I played it like this, but I would like to see your builds. Just to inspire me for mine :P

(Also, I'm always playing alone, so I'm learning the game the hard way, so if someone want to add me ingame, I'll be sooo happy o/)

I have it elited now. Currently with this loadout. It plays just like the 7M, but with an extra missile hartpoint. To make room for more ammo and the extra SSRM, I dropped down to a 300xl engine and dropped AMS.

Jody

Edit: it will run hot so chain fire both ERLL and SSRM. You could drop the ERLL to LL and save some heat scale that way.

i was looking at this today and was going to run 2 LL and 4 streaks with a 300XL + bap, 500 rounds of ammo and DHS

If the meta humping has now taught me... stay with tried and try... so I'm now down to twin PPC's and either dual ASRM4's or 4 SSRM2's with a BAP...

Tried to be more balanced but just doesn't pull the weight or damage against the meta builds and I know this works from my Shadowhawk, instantly got over 500+ dmg rounds.

The 7M isn't the only Treb that got a tube buff. The 7K now has a 20, 15 tube setup for its right arm hardpoints, according to Smurfy. And the 7M has 20, 20, 20.

Opens up some intriguing builds for both mechs.

This could be fun.

Could make the 7K now a viable missile variant (provided you protect that Right arm) and feel also like a Centurion... will need to look at it!

Bump. Bought one on the sale today as a second line/suppressing fire mech. Surprisingly good. A couple of 500+ damage matches with the following

XL325
2 JJ
1 ML
1 Tag
1 AMS w/1 ton ammo
4 LRM 5 w/5.5 ton ammo
Almost full armor

Anyone out in the open gets a stream of hail which throws them off mentally. Your team then can focus them down while the run and cry.

I now pilot Summoners primarily, which are basically, just big, slow TBT-LGs, but I do miss going 106 Kph with nearly the same amount of firepower.
