True. However, for MWO purposes it seems all the non-assaults now have a JJ-capable core. Ironically, this means most people will have to buy all three just to get the hardpoints they want to meta together.

OK, not ironic. And keep em too, so no selling one if you wanna use the parts!

Targeting computer? Perhaps it's a new 'vision' which lowers your vision distance dramatically or adds in tunnel effect, and highlights each limb of enemy 'Mechs in different colours. I can see that being fun. B)

Neither the Adder/Puma nor the Stormcrow/Ryoken get JJ on any of the released variants

Prepare for the 4 Clan Gauss Rifle Dire Wolf...or at least the 3 Gauss/1 CERPPC Dire Wolf, if 4 Gauss ends up being too heavy.

And here I was looking forward to the Stormcrow B. Oh well, still gonna be a fun medium to play with.

4 Gauss is 48t. Yes, you can mount it. ... But you'll have too little ammo to do much with it.

It'll be three unless you like having only two tons of ammo.

Got ninja'd B)

Hopefully, the Stormcrow C will be able to pull off a similar build.

Mostly. I was hoping to pull a 1 UAC/20 with 6 ERSLs and use the saved tonnage for ammo and heatsinks. Every other build for it I had in mind I could do with the C, though all the weapons won't be on the arms like I had wanted.

Well, I was still holding out a little hope that they'd clarify our ability to "reallocate" armor on Clan mechs to include, definitively, the ability to actually remove armor and not just rearrange the armor points already available. As far as I know, we were still a little unclear on exactly what we'd be able to do with armor on Clan mechs. If we can't remove armor then, yeah, the Dire Wolf would reasonably be restricted to 3 Gauss.

I didn't say that. I said you could mount 4 if you really wanted to, but you'd have next to no ammo to shoot with!

Summoner D is a bit underwhelming on it's own, but the actual hardpoints are decent. Targetting computer is still a big mystery

Oh, it will be. The QQ will be loud on this one. You're essentially making a buffed up Thunderhawk. Or something very close to it.

Timber Wolf S

Jump sniping metamonster AND Light nightmare (FOUR missile bays, 4xSRM6)

Not a fan of jump sniping, but I can get behind a 24SRM spammer. Could have space for those to be streaks.

Guess we'll just have to settle for 3 Gauss and 1 ER PPC. Or 3 Gauss and 6 ER Medium Lasers.

Maybe it's a good thing the Dire Wolf C is ahead of the timeline and thus off the table. Can you imagine that ^ with jumpjets?!

Okay, let's get some hardpoint locations...

(BTW: did he or anybody mention/ask if there will be clan BAP, er, AP available...)
