I think they looked at FD's Dire Wolf and said "F- that!, there is a better one from the CityTech art!"

This is my only explanation for why they made the torso so hugely out of proportion. I don't see a Dire Wolf there. I see the nose of a 747 sticking out of a Cameron Class Warship.

The section above the nose sticks out too far, and is too high. That's what makes it look wrong. It looks like someone stuck a nose onto a Masakari.

I think the slope on the top sides needs to be more gradual as well. The overall torso section just looks too squarish.
