If You Were Forced To Pick A Clan To Play, Which Clan Would It Be?

If you could, at least pick one of the main 4 that already have a forum now, and then pick one that isn't the main 4.
If you were going to swap to that clan anyways, that kind of ruins the point of the topic, but you can post anywys if you feel like it.
I have a strong bias for Jade Falcon from playing Mechwarrior 2 when I was a kid.... Also, they seem to like heavy mechs (not assaults), and jumpjets a lot. Both of which I like a lot. Hitting hard and fast is something I can appreciate.
The main flaw for Jade Falcon is that they were basicly portrayed as evil bad guys in the battletech cartoon.
While wolves are cool, Clan Wolf seems boring to me outside of the fact they are called Wolf.
Smoke Jaguar isn't all that interesting to me either. However, they did design the Mad Dog (my favorite mech in battletech).
Ghost Bear use the Mad Dog more than other clans so that gives them a big + for me.
However they seem to be the Steiner of the clans in the fact that they like to have really large mechs. Though some people have told me they like to have lots of super heavy mechs for their main force, while using some support mechs (specificly Mad Dog), and I like playing support while having my team is being a bunch of big heavy mechs.
My knowledge on the clans outside of the main 4 is more limited but :
Nova Cat. They have my 3rd favorite mech in battletech the Shadowcat. They seem to love ER Large Lasers, which is pretty close to PPCs (my favorite weapon after all the missle weapons). Sadly there's a bunch of little things that bother me about Nova Cats. Shadow cat is awesome, and Nova+Nova Cat are fun to play from time to time, but that only goes so far.
Goliath Scorpion. Speed with Precision, Zellbrigen honor, they try to research star league stuff. Unfortunately, the idea of them being addicted to toxins to help them find star league stuff is rather uncool. This is the most likely one outside of the main 4 clans.
Cloud Cobra has a strong emphasis on Aerospace, and I love being in the air. However, since we are piloting only mechs in MWO, they aren't the best, cause I don't really like most of their mechs.
Coyote: While the idea of Zerging with a ton of mechs sounds immensely fun, MWO isn't the game for that. They made Advanced Tactical Missles (ATMs) and I love missles. However outside of that they seem like pretty boring clan.
I'd have to do a lot more research to decide between Goliath Scorpion, Ghost Bear, and Jade Falcon. I'd probably pick Ghost bears first, then Jade Falcons, then Goliath Scorpion.

Warden Clans such as the Ghost Bears eventually cordon off their part of space and defend the Inner Sphere from attack. While Crusader Clans such as the Jade Falcons continue to be the aggressor in hopes of conquest.
I personally find good aspects in each of the major Clans though if I had to rate them in order of preference I would probably say...
Wolf
Jade Falcon
Ghost Bear
Smoked Jaguar
which more or less has to do with the characters in the books as I was introduced to them and the experiences I had in the video games like MW2 and Ghost Bears Legacy that ultimately turned me down the path of the source books and table top game.
Secondary Clans that interest me are...
Nova Cat http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Coyote
Coyote http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Coyote
Hells Horses http://www.sarna.net...Hell%27s_Horses

EDIT - Oh, and we have the best mechs and best weapons, if you want to get into that.
Blood Asp? Check!
Heavy Lasers? Check!
Only Clan other than the Jade Falcons to win during the Trial of Refusal? Check!
Not giant douchebags like Jade Falcon? Check!
Not one of the Big 4 that everyone and their dog chooses? Check!

I'd pick Goliath Scorpion for a clan if I had to pick one. However, they hate Missles (my favorite weapons which is a major strike), and I dislike that they are practicly addicted to toxins (minor strike against them since I don't care too much about it)
However, there's a lot of positives. The whole seeker thing with getting Star League Tech is neat. The Dance of Scars seems like a fun thing to do in game, though the mech version would have to be modified to Arms, torsos, then CT, since shooting a mech's shoulders is just like shooting the rest of the mech in pretty much every mech game.
They made exo-skeletons (miniature versions of battle armor that led to Battle Armors being made from my understanding). They are pretty balanced with mechs, aerospace, and elementals which is nice. I love the focus on speed and precision.
I like their totem mech though, especially the Fire Scorpion 2 loadout (which is funny because it goes against the their hate of missles and love of lasers).
I'd pick Ghost bear if I couldn't pick Scorpion because my of my favorite mech Mad Dog is in in, and I get to support a bunch of super heavy assault allies that are a big faster and hit harder than other assaults.
I'll still pick Draconis Combine long before Ghost Bear because of the whole Honorable Samurai thing, heavy/light mechs, PPCs (They did make all the alternate PPCs), and missles (they did make MRMs). Also, dragons are cool.
I find it amusing how my 2 favorite factions in Battletech have my zodiac signs as well.

Wolverine!
Gotta get me one of them Orcas. I prefer the dual Rotary-Gauss loadout.

Even with all their arrogance, and (sometimes) stupidity, they are passionate and great warriors.
Wolves are too main-stream.
"And we will trample all who stands in our way!"
(yes, I love the Falcons since MW2)
