Today, after I bought the new BJ, I entered my 1st match and it went well.
Then, every drop after that I enter a match, it searches, then sticks on a black connecting screen for 30 seconds, then puts me back into the Mechlab. My Mech is in the battle, but I am not.
This happened a few times after the last patch, but today it is every game. I tried the patcher, no change. it doesn't mater what Mech I use either.
WTF?

I'm having the same issue. I launch, but I'm thrown back to the Mechlab with my 'Mech out on the field...

I tried uninstalling, then a fresh install. All I get now is
"The downloaded file is corrupt. The MD5 Hash of the local file doesn't match that of the file on the server. Would you like to retry?"
Even the patcher doesn't work correctly.

I am very very upset. I spent $30 today to get the new Hero, now I can't even install/play the game! I'm pretty upset.

I sent an e-mail to the support team and as far as I know, they're working to fix it...hopefully they'll be able to find a solution.

After contacting Support, they claimed that I was getting 100% packet loss and that my connections were timing out. They said it was an issue with our service provider (mine is Comcast, so go figure).

After looking around on the web, I found that it may have been because of the firewall settings on my modem, and by changing the security settings a bit, my packet loss improved and I am able to see where the trace route leads.

However, I am still being kicked to the Mechlab. I have contacted them again and am currently awaiting a response.

also note MechWarrior Online uses the following port:
TCP 45461
TCP 45464
UDP 21000 to 30000

It is impossible to know which UDP port the game will use, it uses a different one every time a new match is launched.
Note that technically, this shouldn't matter as the server does not make requests from the client, only the other way around.

I tried opening the ports, but like you said, it didn't matter.

I feel like this isn't a problem with my ISP, rather something that went wonky/got changed in the last patch. I was able to play before the 3rd, and then when that patch went through, I started encountering the problem.

Alright, just found this thread. This started happening to me today. Every match it connects, I see the match loading screen for a second then back to the mechlab.

Repair and reinstall--- same result.

My connection is stable in other games and to several TS3 servers with NO packetloss.

UPDATE: Problem fixed

What I did to fix the issue:

1. Find your Mechwarrior Online directory (default is C:\Program Files (x86)\Piranha Games\Mecharrior Online).
2. Open the Game folder.
3. Delete any files updated on or after June 3rd.
4. Download and run the MWO Repair Tool.
--This will check for and replace invalid files and download missing ones.
5. When the initial scan is finished, click the big green "Fix Errors" button.
--If, at the end, it "stops working", check the dialogue box. If it says "cleaning unneeded files" or something along those lines, or some other satisfactory completion message, then it has fixed the problem.

If this doesn't fix it, then I don't know how to fix the issue. This has worked for me, so I imagine it should solve it. My guess is that something was awry in the latest patch.
