Another one was on Tourmaline Desert. In that same Centurian build, a Cataphract and I went left, every one else went right. The Cataphract fell fast to long range fire. I lost my AC 2 and a leg shortly after. Two to three mechs spent close to three minutes trying to finish me off while the rest of my team rolled their flank. I even typed up on chat that they spent waaayyy too long killing me. One of the guys that was trying to kill me took it in good humor and had complained about me not dying yet before then. Me and him had a good laugh at that. I didn't do very well in that match, but I didn't care.
The last time was somewhat recently. I was in my Dire Wolf (nicknamed the White Whale with matching paint job). One of our teammates had spotted an LRM 60 Awesome, that was wrecking some havoc. Me and two other had flanked them. From right in front of me, a damaged Catapult emerged. I killed him pretty quickly. I popped up, and there was my target, with a hunchback and Thunderbolt (I think, could have been a B-Master) escort. I killed that Awesome, and almost took off the heavier mech's right arm. I don't know how much damage I did to that Hunchback. I was proud of that match. And of that specific Dire Wolf build.
Those are the three that I got that I am most proud of.

3 were left on their team when we realized that they were capping our base.
I was in my LRM Shadowhawk (2ml and 3lrm10) and the nearest and fastest on my team left.
Told my team to not let me die in wain and went charging in against a Atlas, Jager and an ECM Raven. Took a lot of damage on the way in - torso twisting like hell - and was running circles inside the base. The Atlas and Raven tried to take my down once inside while the Jager got distracted by the arrival of my team.
I survived long enough that my team could get them with almost no energy left on the base.
I did not expect to make it. Was a great moment!

Fighting against some clan mech on mordor.
I choosed to not follow the "blob" and get by a sneak way.
There I spotted 3 Timber Wolf showing there rear armor to me...
Ho boy it was epic.
In a matter of second, I destroyed all 3 Timber Wolf rear CT because when one of them was down. The other's didn't saw it, focusing on firing LRMS.
It was so funny to watch them on the chat.
TB1: What the.... BEHIND US!
TB2: *sight* too late.
TB3: Have a place for me guy's?
TB2: Sneaky YLW FTW!
TB1: Now I know what it feel to be humiliated by Kai Allard-Liao
Funny thing. It was my first sortie with the Yen-Lo-Wang after customising him to make it suitable for me.
Since that day, I take my YLW out once a day at least.

But that game has nothing on this one:

Most of the team turned to fight the enemy as they moved from city to under the platform. I and a few others went through saddle and came up behind them. Unfortunately, the enemy were much better shots than my team and I found myself as the last man standing with 4 enemies to go with a crit CT. Those four were (in order of destruction) a Raven, a Thunderbolt, a Banshee, and a Direwolf. The Direwolf had used up all of his AC/20 ammo, but it still took 4 minutes to kill it due to the new C-LRM range mechanic.
It was a very good game. Very fun, good effort by both sides.
Finally, nice game OP! Few things are more nail-bitingly enjoyable than winning a close match in a Locust and putting up Assault-class numbers to boot.
I think my record in the Locust is 730 on HPG. Didn't survive the round, because I got cocky at the end and tried to bull-charge a cherry Cataphract, but it was a good match:

used my centurion as a shield for a random atlas
was on frozen city there was only a few enemy left, they had about 6 to our 3
i was following our atlas and we engaged a enemy stalker, atlas lost an arm but we were taking him down
as he died the atlas shut down from heat and another stalker came around the corner
stalker was on his good side and i couldn't let him lose all his weapons so i ran max speed
just as the stalker lined up the atlas i jumped in the way, took his full alpha to my rear armor
lost all armor and red ct ! i turn and face him let rip my lbx10 and 2xML, i get off two volleys
stalker readys for next alpha, atlas is powering up, i am wetting my self, i twist and absorb another full alpha lose my whole left side, i swing back drop another LBX round and accept that death is only a few seconds away
as i fire my lasers in last ditch effort my screen fills with ATLAS
he marches on that stalker and takes him down so fast it was unholy
battered and smashed we manage to win the game that should not of been possible
the chat was going crazy, it was epic
one of my all time best moments was actually a loss
it was before the gauss nerf, i ran gauss,2xML and 3xLRM5 on my centurion
i was just me left on my team, my mech was fairly fresh, was kind of a weird battle lots of little small skirmishes beteen squads
had left everybody spread right out, so 3v1 i knew my chances were low but i was determined
because of the spread they came at me one by one, that suited me just fine
first mech was a dragon, a little damaged, i used the last of my lrm ammo and took of his leg
with his maneuverability gone he was easy pickings
as he died a jagermech came over the ridge, he lit me up with AC rounds
i twisted left, right, left and fired gauss and laser when i could, i focused his shoulder and eventually took off an arm
suddenly the enemy fire was far less than i perhaps should of been, i think he has alot of stuff in that arm
or perhaps i was lucky and snagged his ammo, with his dakka so much reduced i took his other arm with ease
as i finished him off i caught a glimpse of what their last mech was
ATLAS!
team chat went nuts, run hide, flee
its skirmish guys, where can i go, i respond
i stay in the open just long enough to get his load out, he is long short mix
frak it, there was no safe zone, so i threw a gauss round his way and stepped into cover, LRMs smashed the area
i popped out a few times to throw a gauss and keep him coming the same way
as he got into brawl range i ran around behind the building i was using as a shield
as i passed behind him i shot his right side, he turned right but i was now on his left, i dropped gauss slugs into his cannon side
desperately trying to take out that AC20
he reacted quicker than i expected and gave me full alpha and peeled my CT wide open
i kept firing on his cannon side
i twisted to my shield arm, and his next alpha ripped it clean off along with the side torso.... good thing i used all my LRM ammo
i swing back and take his side torso out too, he lost the AC20 and a Large laser,
i twist again using my gauss arm to block his next strike
i take off his arm, must of had previous damage , oh my god i can do this
chat goes super sonic crazy ! both teams are frothing
i twist again blocking his 2xML with my gauss arm
it comes off, its a zombie battle
i still have a little armor on my right torso, each time he fires i show him that side
everything is gone now, but his ct is open and red
all i need is one shot
all he needed was 1 shot about 3 mins ago
he kills me
we lose
that goes mental and both sides congratulate me on my valiant last stand
most recently
i got into the top10 Centurions bracket in the mediums vs the world tourney
was very proud of my centies that day

The teams were about even and this was fairly early in the match, I noticed the base is being captured warning (this was before turrets) so took my Spider (with 4 MG + ERLL) to head off the capture, which seemed to be going very fast. When I saw there was a full lance on our base, and asked for help (both on TeamSpeak and by typing “4@base HELP” into team chat), then I ran into the base capture zone (with about 1/8 of base health left) and, as only a Spider can, evaded fire using the enemy Mechs and the base itself as cover, and my jumpjets to make me unpredictable.
It felt like a very long time but I am guessing was less than 30 seconds before help arrived, and it was a lot of help, turns out the rest of the team (8 Mechs) came to back me up, unfortunately I did not survive, I was legged at about the time the first allies arrived and down about 5 seconds later however we won.
the base had roughly no health left by the end, I had done almost no damage, 1 assist and no kills but I had proved instrumental in our victory
Another treasured memory, my first ever drop on Alpine Peaks, the map had been released on the Tuesday, this was the Wednesday. We started on Alpine in conquest mode, I noticed the rest of the team were all 60ton + so I said I will cap.
After about 7 minutes I had 3 points and the enemy only had 1 (this was when capturing a point only took about 20-30 seconds), they finished off the last of my team (there were 2 enemies left) and I decided to hide as the capture counter had passed 600, we won and my first experience on Alpine Peaks resulted in me doing 0 damage and never even seeing an enemy Mech

They were the unwavering rock that no one had been able to topple, and we had no anticipation of winning. Our goal going into the match was just to push it to a game 5. We ended up winning in 4. It was a great night for all of SwK.
Or playing in the RHoD Season 2 finals. While we lost, it was the most tense/exciting/nervous I have ever been for a video game.
Hopefully we can have some success against the lords tonight.

Ran at 70 kph to the exit/entrance as soon as game started and played door gunner.
A slower atlas finally caught up and proceeded to shoot me in the back. I'd been standing in the exit/entrance since the game started long before he arrived.
I turned to look at him. He looked back at me. I said, "don't do that again".
He did it again.
I turned & shot him in the left eye with my 5 ER LL's and he died.
We still won the game despite being short 1 atlas.
I did 800-900+ damage and got 4-5 kills (not counting the TK).

Before they nurfed jump jets. Jumped over an Atlas on Frozen City with my Jenner giving a full Alpha of SRM and lasers to get head shot.
Repeated it again on next match.

The value of IS lights! I had one of those last month, with my own unit MTAC. I was in my LCT-1M on Alpine and we were finishing up the lance that we caught out in the open when the base cap warning came on. Being the only fast runner on the team, I booked it to the base (G10 side) and got into the box behind the rig, shouting into the comms that the base was on the brink. The enemy all tried to squeeze between said rig and a building to get at me; by the time they had disentangled themselves and gone around the other way, help had arrived. I died a fiery death, but the game was won!

I still had decent armor left and I headed back towards base to do what I could to go down in a blaze of glory. I took the low ground and was in the pit in front of the large crystals in front of our base. Instead of barging up the ramp toward base, i stopped short and engaged my jump jets to see what I could see, and there just happened to be an enemy Catapult lumbering by. Out of reflex, I sprayed my 3 ASRM4 at him. It only looked like about half cleared the hill, but down the catapult went. Not a bad start.
This alerted the rest, but they must have been spread out because they didn't all come together. First into the pit was a moderately damaged Stalker. I fired my AC20+ARSM12 at him and immediately turned his CT internals orange. I jumped and twisted to spread his fire, but he still managed to remove the last of my CT armor. About this time, another enemy Catapult joined the fray and commenced to stripping what was left of my armor. One more round of AC/SRM fire finished off the Stalker, and it turned out the Catapult was already orange CT from the main battle. He went down quickly after.
I don't remember what the last mech was, and I was down to red internals, but it was one of those times when you just know you're going to win. All my shots were on target, and I always managed to spread his damage perfectly.
We were victorious and I'll never forget that match.

Crimson Strait B6 base. I was in Alpha Lance - 4 diifferent Stalkers ! Mine was 3F.
One guy suggested Lets go to D5. Other one said Why not? So we went there (my favourite position on that map, hehehe.)
We formed a line, no retreat, noone shall pass... We took and inflicted enormous damage. End of the battle - we won!
All that was left alive at the end was ours 4 Stalkers.
On that day I was proud to be a Stalker 3F pilot...

Crimson Strait: my team was slaughtered trying to enter the tunnel. Current scoreboard: 2 of us vs 8, so in theory game over.
All that was left was my Stalker 3F and dakka Jager at D5. Without a word we just looked each other and decided to storm B6 base. We rushed down the hill and did *advancing in group* tactic. I was destroying turrets like 70 percent and Jager was finishing them.So we advanced from one turret to another and did the same. We entered the base and Jager was without ammo.
I stood in front of him to protect him and give him few more seconds. Enemy started to pile between the bulidings (instead of taking our base, love PUG). Firing all Ive got, even LRMs at close range... We captured the base!!!

I checked radar and only one other friendly mech was showing, so I sent to him that we should head to the tunnel and try to hold out there. 10 mechs vrs 2. The other mech was a Boar's Head hero mech and I was in a HBK 4G. As they closed in I'm sure everyone thought the battle was over.
The battle raged on and soon it was 2 mech's vrs 2, Thats when my ct went finally cored and I had to eject, but not before using the remaining laser to seriously damage the Spider mech I think it was, that got me.
At the end we won the battle, and the Boar's Head was the last mech standing. Actually happened, was a great match.
