Given how much you pay for these things, and how cumbersome it is to put them on and take them off, PGI really does need to give us this quality of life improvement. Sure, they may lose out on a few duplicate sales, but I imagine more people overall would be inclined to invest in cockpit items and modules if you didn't have to manage each individual copy. I'd wager that the overall increase in sales base would more than make up for the loss in duplicate purchases.

But of course you understand why they don't do that, right? Why make the Hula Girl so easy to use when purchasing a half-dozen does the same thing?

honestly why wasn't this part of the inventory to begin with?

this could exclude consumables, and in place of the "auto refill" option for the consumable, there could be a "lock" checkbox for the non-consumables that would allow you to exclude a module from the auto-strip (so, for example, your favorite mech can always be ready)

This is because in the latter case, players may have mechs they use a lot that have modules that the player doesn't want to remove. The search feature in this case would allow players to find that one module on the mech they used 2 weeks ago and remove only it. When a player has 75 mechs and many modules continually assigned to various mechs, searching is the only acceptable way to implement this.

Also, while equipping a mech, please allow a module to be able to un-equip itself from one mech automatically without having to 'configure' that mech. This is SO unintuitive and the mouse-clicking and save-time waits are beyond ANNOYING!

They want you to buy multiple modules. They are crazy if they think I'm buying more than 2 seismic modules at 6mill each.
