The Jenner K used to have 1 more module slot than the other jenner to make up for the fact that's it's overall worse than the other Jenner. It literally have no reason to exist now. On top of that it's still more costly than the D which is the alternative to the K.

Now its mech modules have been normalized with the other Jenner who have everything better.

Clearly the 3rd Weapon Module Slot will elevate the Locust above all other Light mechs. It will become god-tier, as the non-existent 3rd weapon type on the Locust uses its new found range advantage to reign supreme over its foes from afar.

They should have just kept the module slot numbers the same but added 2 Consumable slots. That way most people aren't affected by the change and PGI can sell more strikes.

The weapon module system is like ...you know we might actually have a case to have some mental hospital go collect the PGI staff.

If you ever wanted to run a Jenner with a NARC but didn't think losing both CT slots on the D was worth it, you can do it on the K.

That's a shame, it had a nice role because of the extra slot. I used to run a 3ML/LL/Narc Jenner K loaded up with modules including Artillery and UAV and used as a utility 'mech in PUG games, trying to be as useful as possible. Until JJ/fall damage that is, went off light 'mechs a bit after that.

Yup....extremely piss poor implementation of the new slot system. What more needs be said?

I'm sure if we complain loud enough PGI *might* change it for the K. It is a very very simple task, after all.

Your best chance is to post it on Reddit, where PGI actually reads.
