I'm a fairly new player to MWO, been playing for a total of about 6 months now. I solo qued through Puglandia, getting up to tier 2, earned the "Ace of Spades" achievement, felt I had a good grasp of the game and thought I was pretty good. (lil big head there )

So, wanting to delve deeper into the game and what it could offer, I started searching for a dedicated unit and found The Black Forge from this very page.

This has drastically changed my MWO experience, realized what I had wanted from the game from the start, units/lance working in coordinated effort for a common goal. Knowing when I'm in my brawler and the word is given to round that corner or push that hill, that my squad mates will be barreling in behind me bringing Hell with them.

I've learned a lot, and at the end of the game, when the scoreboard pops up and I have 400 or 500 damage and only 1-2 kills, its a more fullfiling win than any 1000 5-6 kill solo q games, because instead of a little luck and the chips falling my way for success, having coordination with your squad, seeing goals set and achieved, or that target called (looking at you KDK-3) get focused to oblivion is much more satisfying.
