What is required to sign up?

• Typically active 1+ days a week on average. (We're very understanding about work/real life difficulties as the arise *just let us know!*)
  
• The ability to speak English. (It's okay if it isn't your native language - so long as you can communicate and understand decently well using it)
  
• Good sportsmanship/grace during difficult or disappointing times. (Losses, personal problems, etc.)
  
• A desire to join and be part of a team.
  
• A desire to become part of a tight-knit group. (You're joining a gaming family!)
  
• A desire to constantly learn and grow!
  
• A love for playing Inner Sphere tech!
  
• A love for playing with your fellow unit members, regardless of the number!

I'm delighted to tell you that The Black Forge is recruiting again!

Are you new to the game? Fear not! Something common we found with new pilots is that many people want to join a unit, but wait until "They are good enough" or "Have all the mechs" they think they'll need.

Don't worry about any of that! In fact, we prefer to work with new people! After all, wet clay is easier to shape than hardened stone.

We are a Hardcore unit. We work hard, fight harder, and play hardest! But don't be fooled! We offer a friendly place for EVERYONE to grow and enjoy MWO!

One of our major goals is to breathe positivity into the MWO community, and bring sportsmanship to the table! The game is fun to play, has big stompy BattleMechs, and has great mechanics!

We apologize for not getting to this sooner! We were letting our thread die down a bit and weren't checking it!!

Yes, we're recruiting and we try to play every day. Wednesday nights are when we usually train but if you cant make that we do have make up days. We're a tightknit brotherhood of players who are very welcoming to knew and old players alike! (Tightknit meaning a small force). We do not mass recruit, we like to get to know our members

We are still IS only. We like it that way.

Know Your Foe

Your basic Clan pilot isn't too smart, but if you destroy only a side torso he is still 86% combat effective. Here's a tip: Go for the center torso and put down the clanner for good.
