Hey Guys,
Searched google but didn't find anything. Is there anything during the match that give you feedback of damage you inflicted on a mech. I'm shooting at these mechs and its difficult for me to tell if I'm pegging them for damage. Sometimes I see sparks but I still don't know if my attacks are successful. I'm coming from WOT and when I damage a tank their the number of damage done will float up from the tank. Anything similar in MWO that can be enabled?
Thanks for the help!

Your reticle will flash red on a registered hit.

Hello! When your hit registers, your cross hairs should flash red. If your reticle does not change colors, then your hit did not do any damage as far as the server is concerned.

I understand your confusion. I am a founder, but I didn't start playing (for various reasons) until this past weekend. Soooooo yes, I am asking and will continue to ask newbie questions.

@Dorion
Ignore Prime lol he likes to point out the little things.
Head over to the New Player section of the forums you'll find a lot of ppl who will give you help with anything you need, posting new player questions here in the general discussion will only get you trolled.

When you press R and lock the mech you are shooting the inflicted damage will be refelcted on his "paperdoll" top right corner.
The damaged components will flash briefly and their color changes from yellow/orange to red the more damage is applied.
