I am hearing whispers of a bonus mech for clan pack purchasers coming later this month? Is this something Russ said for sure?

Can someone who knows what was said come in and enlighten?

They're tossing in a bonus mech for those who already own the clan package when they buy the reinforcement package.
OR
They're giving us a free clan mech on the 23rd.

The bonus mech is for people who purchased a certain level of the first Clan pack AND who purchase another level of the upcoming Wave 2 pack. Details coming out on Monday, Sept 15.

If you bought the top level of the clan pack and you buy the top level of the clan reinforcement pack, you'll get the free mech on the 23rd. At lest that's the way I took it.

"Wave 2" of Clan Invasion will have a light, medium, heavy, and assault clan mech, thus there will be four levels of packages. They did not say whether they were omnis or 2nd line mechs. Later discussions said they are staying away from MASC-enabled mechs (so Fire Moth and Shadow Cat are most likely out).

They are also offering a choice of faction skins for the Wave 2 package purchase, meaning every mech purchased will come with that faction's skin.

If purchasers of a certain level of Wave 1 also purchase a certain level of Wave 2, they will receive a bonus custom clan mech on Sept. 23rd.

I purchased the Wave 1 Thor package, so I'm probably out on this bonus mech.

Yeah pretty sure he said only for top-tier wave 1 purchasers.

Well whatever it is we'll see it for C-bills eventually I suppose, although the promotion would be the only way to get an (Invasion) variant </conjecture>

The other info that was released said that on Monday they will have the list of all variants and their release schedule for both pack buyers, MC, and C-Bills. He stated that instead of getting all at once, one would be delivered every 2 weeks starting in November and ending in the middle of December.

Yeah, sorry... I can't bring myself to throw more money at the game until I see delivery on some of those promises.

I am fairly confident that Russ said, "A certain level of the first Clan Package." when determining eligibility, not the very top level. We shall see, though.

Yea, I'm with vortmax in that I only bought the Summoner $90 package back in February for all the monthly bonuses and never upgraded due to a lack of a long term road map.

Still not a single new map since last christmas. That's emberassing. I have more than 60 mechs and wonder what to do with more?! Surly not waging over the same maps again and again. What a shame.

Want the Mad Dog enough to splurge and CW does seem to be ticking away even if I want it faster. Not happy about no MASC for the foreseeable future, but honestly more concerned with no collisions.

All in all slow steady progress, 2 more years and this game could be amazing and I am pretty sure it has the legs to make it that far now.

We'll see. I don't like the current brawl-only version of MWO. Seems like we went back to Closed Beta gameplay from the first month or so of the game when nothing but AC20's and Lasers were used. I will need MWO's tactical gameplay aspects better supported than it is now for me to buy a Mad Dog or Supernova.

I activated all my lovingly banked Premium Time from the past two years for the game MWO was 4-5 weeks ago, now I hate the gameplay, only play a few matches per day at most. Please fix the brawl-only gameplay. You must see what has happened too?

the deal is, you pay $500 for a clan pack, then another $120 for 5 more mechs +1 freebie, if your that fool who do's then I guess you'll buy any **** that gets shovelled.
