A new family of weapon module cool down llevel 1 to 5

Wait....but what?
It takes a total of 10,700 gxp (got that laying around?) to research the "cooldown" modules in order to be able to drop 3 million on the module itself to make the boating medium laser workhorse......workable again?

ctrl+shift+A you do that for mech to grab its ankles.

Honestly, hoped the talk about ditching IGP and promises of a new world were true...
For a mere 7 bucks, you can buy some MC, convert the XP in a mech you have into GXP and research the modules if you dont want to wait and grind them out. <_<
There are cool down modules for ERPPC, ERLarge, LRM's etc etc etc......
I guess NOW its clear why clans got heat whacked last week

I don't think you're understanding this. The "Cooldown" modules don't make the weapons cooler - they make the "recycle rate" faster, so you can fire them more often. Using these modules will actually raise heat per second.

Premium time (from challenges) and the 2x bonus (every day) push your GXP earnings quite a bit. 10K over the weekend is not unheard of. Quit whining.

well, its possible my ex wifes are correct, I'm stupider than I had realized.
running the test map on caustic, with module all six lasers it hits 51% heat with or with out the cooldown mod
with module in place cooldown is 4.07-4.12 with OUT module in place its 4.21-4.31
tested each 3-4 times
what a focking joke........its hard not to be cynical. real hard......

modo, go do something helpful, like test modules

You believe those new modules aren't designed to generate cash? thats priceless

I'm not sure what laser you're using, but the new modules lower recycle time by 12% (for the tier 5 mods).

Um, actually I do... I have about 50k GXP lying around. And I don't even play that much or use Premium time. I'm sure there are others with more.

I suppose? I mean, "cooldown" is a pretty commonly used and well-understood term at this point, but I can see why it might be confusing.
