Well, they kinda do, but no really
DX11, ultra settings...
Tested DX9 as well, and various "shadows" settings on the slider.
Seems none of the Highlander mechs have shadows, except for 2 little shadow "boxes" about there the shoulders might be
I can't honestly say if this is new to this patch or not because I just noticed it the other day.
I'll take a screencap when I get home if you want.

Same with my Firebrand. Only shadow of the shoulders and the shield plates around cockpit.
Is this a ninja buff for Shadowhawk? I haven't seen one lately.

Not sure if a general bug, i recognised that mechs with TPS enabled have broken shadows (hey are kinda hollow), while in FPS the shadow is correct. But maybe only on a few mechs.

No, I have that problem as well from time to time...
This is with "medium" settings under DX9, but with
Particles -> low
Post Processing -> low
Anti-Aliasing -> Yes
Graphics card: Ati Radeon HD 5850
driver: Catalyst 13.1 (rather old)
- A Kit Fox missing its shadow while being in the cockpit, but has it in 3rd person view (Alpine Peaks), or
- A Jagermech where its shadow only consists of some vertical and horizontal lines coming from the side torsos (Canyon Networks), but all the rest is missing.
- Also a Stalker had almost no shadows like the Jagermech multiple times on Canyon Networks, maybe on Alpine Peaks too...

I cannot remember any specific 'Mechs offhand (besides the Jagermech), but I have seen a few with broken or outright missing shadows lately.
It does not appear to be terribly consistent, but often enough when I am actually paying attention to my shadow I see things wrong with it.

Interesting, I though it had to do with the environment setting I lowered to
help with smoke FPS drop.
Then this started with the first clan patch...
