For those who will complain about this being called need, from here on it is now, things we want.

-Urbie

-rescaling of most mediums

-rescaling of Atlas, Stalker, and Awesome

-Destructible terrain

-M.A.S.C.

-Urbie

-A quality and diversity in maps over quantity

-Melee; done right or not at all.

-Raising arms that have lower actuators

So, input and ideas would be accepted... and I know that Urbie is in there twice. :D

EDIT: I know not all these may be for every one, but that is why I said ideas would be accepted. Its because I want people to give quick impute. -Thank you

Of the items on your list, the only one that I feel NEEDS to be done is the maps. Everything else would be nice, but it's just icing.

An example of something I think NEEDS to be done, is some sort of lobby system or some way for players to meet and communicate in-game. The more social tools you give the players, the more likely they are to make friends in the game, and the more friends they have the more likely they are to stick around and/or recruit new players.

No. Waste of resources.

They said this was equivalent to re-doing a map, and just isn't going to happen anytime soon. The whole 'Mech model would have to be re-done, as if it's a brand new 'Mech coming out.

Lets see what quirks are and then we will go from there.

-Destructible terrain

Would be cool, but would stress computer graphical limitations in a game that is a very poorly optimized.

Clan lights could make use of this. It doesn't need to make 'Mechs go 200kph, just make the ****** clan lights go 130kph for a short period of time.

No.

-A quality and diversity in maps over quantity

I think things are pretty diverse, just not high-quality.

-Melee; done right or not at all.

Seems to be a waste of time. The netcode feels pretty bad and 'mechs skip around everywhere when colliding. If collisions aren't working, what makes you think melee will ever make its way in? I think they said they werent ever going to do melee anyways.

-Raising arms that have lower actuators

This can be fixed through other means.

I dont think they should waste their time on destructible terrain . Ther plan is to make it "client side only". I want to be able to shoot down buildings or see if someone walked over trees. I want to start the forest on fire but none of this is going to matter if its only on my computer.

We can have a slight effect on the terrain already (laser marks on rocks and whatnot), but it disappears really quickly. Permanent (for the one match I mean) effects on the terrain would be really cool.

Already in the game.

Pay for Premium Time, start a Premium private match. Make sure the leader of each group has activated Premium Time, and BOOM, you get the option to do 1v1s, 2v2s, 3v3s, ... all the way up to 12v12s.

-You forgot to mention adding knockdowns back in

-Balance all weapons to converge or none (looking at missiles)

-Balancing clan ghost heat with lower thresholds because they have more weapon options

-Balancing clan laser range with increased heat values (40% range for 12% heat increase is just stupid)

-Balance matches based on Build value not some mentally handicapped Elo system that doesn't work

-Reduce time to kill back where it was in the beta (about 30-45 seconds)

-Fix lasers so that lights don't ignore laser damage most of the time

-Remove ghost heat and find a way to make the game not be "one shot the enemy online"

-Change consumables back to be a module choice slot (aka not using them means you can use more modules)

-Remove the overly restrictive 3/3/3/3 system

-Bring back 8 vs 8 matches (this one may seem out there but try it and you'll like it better)

-Bring back the old graphics that looked amazing

I want the particle engine overhauled. I'm all about the spectacle of mech combat.

I want to see proper dust clouds while mechs are walking.

Explosions should throw huge clouds of crap into the air. Watch any 'murican war montage on youtube.

Mechs hitting the ground should do the same. 100t of anything falling on anything is going to leave a mark.

I want to see smoke billowing out of damaged and destroyed mechs.

I want to see dust clouds billowing across the landscape, obscuring mechs and vision.

Really, I think a little atmosphere will go a log way to giving the game more atmosphere. Often, I feel like i'm playing a game where the mechs are regular human size and everything else has been scaled down. Getting the environmental effects overhauled would go a long way towards improving immersion and awesomeness, IMHO.

Sorry but you are not speaking for me. These are not things that WE NEED to see. These are things YOU WANT to see. I could care less about the Urbie or MASC. Destructable terrain would be nice but not something that I see as a need. The rest I agree that I would want in the game

Of everything that you listed, the only thing that I agree with is the rescaling of Mediums and even then, I feel like you just aren't playing them right. So no, you don't really speak for me or anyone but yourself. Get off your high-horse and get back to playing.
