So with the current rules, we can bring 4 mechs between 140 and 240t into CW in our dropship.

No limit it has to be one of each class. So even 4x a Mad dog would be allowed. What are you going to put in it?

I am currently quite catched between either
1x Hellbringer
1x Timberwolf
2x Nova

or probbaly

1xHellbringer
2x Mad dog
1 Nova.

but I guess a nova and a Hellbringer will definately be in it. I like both the Tw and maddog quite equally. But TW is clearly the better mech.

my dream woudl be 1 nova, one hellbringer one TW one mad dog. but thsi would be 250t, and 250t are a critical mark, because they would allow weird stuff like 3x TW + lynx or 2x DW + 2 lynx. so 240t seem to be a perfectly chosen number.

Timber Wolf - Summoner - Mad Dog - Kit Fox

Three heavies and a light for sure. Although if the Mad Dog is not yet on open release it will have to be the Storm Crow for a while. Also, and then, Hellbringer.

Limited numbers of Clan mechs do make for limited potential drop decks, particularly if they are routinely going to be locked behind a pre-release for months.

Commando, Commando, Atlas, Stalker

(not necessarily in that order).

I just wanna say thank goodness they got rid of the rigid 1/1/1/1 structure.

Or maybe I'll bring

2D, 3M, Stalker, Stalker

Leaning 3 mediums 1 assault atm. Probably 50-55 tonners and 80-85 tonners really depends where the quirks leave things and what's best for the new mode/map.

Also will probably depend on if we're talking attacking or defending drop deck or if we'll even know for sure which side of invasion we are on when we hit drop (since counter attacks exist for defenders to get tokens back).

you will have to supplement with trial mechs until you buy more mechs, since 1)3 warhawks is not meeting the total of 4 mechs 2) 3 warhawks exceeds the total tonnage and 3) you can't mix Clans and IS for CW so you can't even mix up Warhawks and that Centurion.

I'll be IS for CW so probably Stalker, Catapult, Shadowhawk, and a 35 tonner that I haven't picked yet.

Clan side im leaning toward either

Stormcrow
Stormcrow
Hellbringer
Hellbringer

or

Fenris
Stormcrow
Hellbringer
Timberwolf

or (BEWARE. CHEESE)

Stormcrow
Stormcrow
Stormcrow
Timberwolf

(oh look, i won the endo steel + FF lottery, wheeeeeeeee)

240 tons is quite annoying for clans, makes it bloody hard to fit a DW (140 tons for 3 mechs is low for my taste)

Step 1: Play locusts until you become the best locust pilot in the game.
Step 2: Bring 2 locusts and 2 Direwolves to CW.

And damn, that actually gives you a reason to buy more than 1 of each Hero mech. I was just thinking I'd bring like 3 Ilyas and Spider.

...

And in before people complaining that Quickdraw pilots have an unfair advantage in CW because they can bring 4 copies of their favorite mech. :o

Not sure that hits the minimum tonnage (140). How about three Locusts and a Victor?
