While we're on the subject, how about flares like in MW4? Those were a lot of fun!

Granted it does make you quite a target, but still. XD

Visibility is important, and I support searchlights.

As you wish!
I hadn't been on the forum in a little bit, and I am surprised by the ammount of feedback FOR the searchlight. Neato.

River City night is more than enough reason to want a searchlight on a mech. Both for me to use among the buildings and in close fights to use to better effect than thermal and NODs, and for firing on idiots that leave them on at a distance.

Seriously - I'm not affraid of any of you that are able to hit my Mech at a range were searchlights or the Atlas red eyes are visible but not the Mech.
The other thing is, wasn't the Searchlight on Warhammer and Rifleman linked to their weapons? I might say the SRM for the Warhammer was linked an did allow him to fire them precisely.
Last not least - would be interesting to see if a glare could blend a target considering the night fights.

I just know that I would never turn mine on, since it would be like putting up a huge arrow with a bull's eye that says "I'm here, please shoot me" on my head..
But you can have one..
I imagine if somebody turned on their nightvision and looked at you with your searchlight on, it would be like Agent Smith looking at Neo in "code sight"
Just a big, green blinding light..
