No lie. I'm hoping there's a chassis Leaderboard challenge soon. (Like the one where -every- Mech Chassis had a board. Whether Dire Whales, Griffins, whatever). Because I'm really curious to see how I can do in a Cicada compared to other Cicada pilots.

I didn't have the time to try the last time it was happening for some reason or another. So I still have no clue.

Im trying to Get back into fast mechs after leeting my Stalkers.

X-5 with XL300, x3ERLL is like a mini Stalker. 820m with no range module. 1.2heat but gets hot if you alpha a lot.

Basically, get an angle, and ridge hump at 800m. I can has lazor sniper i has skillz. Sorta.

300-400 point matches pretty common for me in it. I don't get a lot of kills, but that's more an issue with me (I am terrible at holding beams on target) than anything else.

Since the ghost heat is gone, its screaming 3ERLL at me. Mini Stalker...

Mini Stalker is fun...

But i was looking at the quirks on the X5.

You can do a pokey-poor man's B.

XL300, endo, ferro, 1LPL, 3MPL, 1DHS
Same MPL range
Slightly hotter, slightly longer cooldown.

But can poke @ 430m with the LPL

29 damage alpha, better turn rate.

THIS may be my X5 go to build.
