Mystery Monkey

Not complaining, free is free, even if I'm slightly disturbed by this Energizer Bunny-meets-Wizard of Oz critter.....
But, how the heck did I end up with it? Certainly never bought one, not even by accident, and it wasn't there earlier...
Did he crawl into my cockpit on his own? He's creepy enough as is, now I have to wonder if I'm going to wake up and see him standing, cymbaling over me some night with malicious intent....
Seriously though, anyone else end up with a random mystery monkey or anything like that after the event?
(I could be having a massive brainfart and have won him in the Halloween event, but I pretty definitely don't remember that even being one of the potential prizes, never mind one that I got. And I've been in and out of cockpit items quite a bit since then....he's kinda hard to miss.....)

No. In all seriousness, it is probably some challange/tournament bonus. Just remove it.

i was looking through my Cockpit Items (None of which I have ever bought - they have all been prizes from events) and found a monkey as well. It was called a Surrat. Long story short I was confused :/

I either totally missed that one part of the appreciation awards, or just forgot about it, since the Cent was the only thing I thought I was slated to get.
You have no idea how much I am bothered by things I can't figure out....it actually pains me lol. All good now, at least I know it's not a demon mutant monkey stalking me.

Well, looks like I have some new dance moves to perfect. My kids aren't going to embarrass themselves, yaknow. They need help.
It is said that if the dance is done correctly, George Michael himself appears and hops on the back of the nearest enemy mech and disables it (like a jockey in L4D2) allowing you to get a free kill.

Nearest enemy mech, or nearest BJ...
(what? I'm clearly talking about the mech, not his criminal record....*cough*)

Sometimes, I wish I had amazing programming skills, worked at a game company, and just did **** like this for holiday events.

Does he try to drag the mech off a rooftop too? Having to fend off that little ******* on Dead Center 1 is why the "Magnum pistol" is my best friend in the game. Well that and the fact that it's the most efficient secondary weapon on expert.

Or even better, mounted on my mechs shoulder or front somewhere, pointing at the enemy. Thy might not shoot me for fear of the monkey's wrath..
In fairness to the hyperactive little bugger, I did throw Surat into a mech, to see if he brings me good luck...though I try very hard not to look him in the eyes...
