He was posting, but what has he been doing lately that gives you the impression that he was working 8 hours a day on community management? It's all speculation on my part, but I wonder if he's just been dealing with support@mwomercs.com

Seeing the news.

Having read the suggestive comment about Niko tweeting "Yay Chest X-rays."

Do hope it is unrelated.

As of today, Niko is no longer at PGI.. Our long loved community manager has left us..
May there be many a tear shed for him today
Who will now break the bad news to us.. who will take the communitys weight when we backlash at PGI, WHO WILL NOW TELL US THE GOOD NEWS.
Who will get the entire team banned from Reddit? Who will write off an entire sub Reddit? Who will try to censor the entire internet?
So far PGI's choices for CM have been lacking. Let's hope they've learned their lesson. Now hopefully we can move on and have more positive changes."
More like jack holes from forums got him let-go or forced to quit
I had never even heard of Reddit but he made a mistake and that was it
I bet he got blamed for the Universe To Explore fail
But what really did it in was trolls being upset that PGI had a second game in the works (it was a good idea to have two games)
I hope some of you realize that no one is perfect
And there is nothing wrong with a game design company coming out more than one game

Society has to exploit people at their weakest moment. How else will we feel better about ourselves? Not only that, but the prestige of being the first person to let an entire forum know. That's like winning an Oscar.

And my bow.
... but seriously, it would be very nice if we had a community manager that's already a part of the community. Not to put him on the spot, and I'm not suggesting him, but we need somebody at least like Koniving.
We'll miss you, Nikosnow =333, I bet it's been a tough job.

That said, I hope they find someone who can both take a tirade of **** that always shows up on the forums and can effectively do what no other community manager has done: manage the community. Someone who will not censor disgruntled consumers, who will reach out to various communities, and who won't promote a flamewar with people who want to voice their opinions.

That being said, I can't say I enjoyed his time here.
I like where PGI is going these last few months.
Side bar, PGI give me a work visa so I can move to Canada. I'll work for FREE!

Agreed. I don't care who you are, getting let go is tough. Especially end of calendar. Seriously BEST OF LUCK to Niko!
