Not exactly, it would depend on the hero mech since you are almost certain to have some MC left over. However I am sure if you factor in the extra goodies you can buy with the spare MC it works out as a good deal.

Edit: did the math for every 1000 MC value today you spend the equivalent of 541 MC.

Being cost today 1000 MC at 65% = 650
MC purchase 541 + 20% = 650
Works out at about 46% discount
