Only premium time from packages are banked. Store bought premium time starts ticking straightaway.

So I've got banked time but want to buy some bow cos of the sale but apparently you can't do that until all banked time is used up.

No biggie, I can wait until the next sale. Never bought premium time for full price and never will.

What? Where does it say that you cannot purchase Premium Time with MC unless your banked time is used up?

I know for a fact you used to be able to purchase PT with MC without activating banked PT, so unless this is a brand new policy, you're wrong.

Yeah, despite having All that premium time from the Resistance pack on the way along with my final 21 days of Clan Wave 2, I decided to buy 180 days.

There are really no heros I want that I don't already have, and there is no way I'm spending MC on current or soon-to-be c-bill mechs.

180 days for $23.44 is good to me. I'll just have some banked Premium Time after the 180 expires in late May. That'll cover all the resistance mech releases, and then some.

He is wrong. I just bought a package while I do have banked prem time. No worries.

Happy to be wrong then with this sale but where do you actually buy it? In game there's only the activate button for PT and can't find the option on my profile page other than to buy MC.

Go to Store in the game itself. It can be found clicking the Boosters tab on the left upper hand corner I think.

Thanks for the heads up, though I won't buy premium time until they change how it works. Either letting you activate it on a per day basis, or having you buy it as a quantity of matches.

Ah ha! - That was it! Logged on yesterday and MWO mentioned it was redeeming items. Couldn't work out what it was and thought I may have reached an achievement after logging off the night before after dying in my last match.
