Because he probably doesn't want very many applications, and is probably looking for more dedicated players whom tend to follow Twitter, hence scoring a smaller audience of players which are more likely to be wanting to help rather than just getting a sneak-peek of whatever they're working on. Sounds logical to me.

lol i think just about every long time player has had their rage moments but if they have stuck around its for a reason, personally im liking direction they are going and im liking Paul and Russ are taking more active roles on forums.

i feel like an idiot, didnt see he orignaly tweeted that at 2pm so it was meant for today only, thought it might be some on going ish thing. oh well.

This isn't just today (or I would have taken the afternoon off). This is the equivalent of a friends and family alpha/beta he want player who can commit to 3-6pm pst on- demand, which is end of day PGI time combined with EST standard prime time. No Scooby snacks required for this mystery.

Why is he not using the games own forum for this. I dont have twitter. Im not gonna see anything he puts there. I find it rather odd that he doesnt communicate on his own forum.

because
1. he knows anything he posts on twitter will be eventually filtered to forums
2. even with just #1 happening he was over whelmed.
if he had posted it on the forums his PM box would have asploded.

With all due respect, the fact you immediately try and link spending money on the game as anything to do with whether they follow Twitter/Reddit, makes it very hard to take you seriously.

Though, to be entirely honest, if someone's willing to spend $500 on a game, they're probably more dedicated than the average fellow. Not always, but that's facts. Don't get your problem there.

PGI really needs to get out of that business hours in Pacific Time thing and get some other people in at other time zones for testing.
