EDIT: Condensed Quirk List to be found here:
http://files.enjin.com/740346/downloads/IS Quirk List updated Dec 2014.pdf

Feedback please in this thread:
http://mwomercs.com/...sed-quirk-list/

Allright, I wanted to upload something. I don´t know how. "My Media" in the editor brings up a media library, but I don´t know how to put anything in there. Checked under my profile, but found nothing.

I made a condensed and formatted IS Quirk list and wanted to share it. I tend to print it out, because I wont alt-tab dozens of times between smurfy and this excuse of an UI. It is simply inconvenient.

Since PGI refuses to format anything their PDF is 30 pages long. So I thought people might want to use it.

Then I ran into this excuse of a forum engine. Help please.

Help me help you.

First, if you are too stupid to use the forum, then the problem lies with you, not the forum, so insulting the tool doesn't improve the impression you leave. Just FTR, and FYI.

As to that, I believe the My Media function is disabled in order to prevent spam, and/or for bandwidth reasons. That said, I believe you should be able to host it elsewhere and post a link. Or host it at your guild site and let people grab it there.

So...if the forum function I was looking for is disabled but not labeled as disabled (sounds lyrical, doesn´t it?) then the problem lies with me...

Re-read your thread title.

Also, the point was insulting people and their decisions etc, without knowing the whole of the matter, doesn't reflect well on you.

No, I agree. For somebody who's not used to posting on a lot of different forums, this one is very unintuitive. Most people don't know how images and videos work...

In short, you can host nothing on our forum, you have to upload it to a third party site. If you don't have any you prefer, I recommend photobucket or imgur for images and box.net or dropbox for anything else.

I remember trying to post a screenshot for the first time. . . I was dragging and dropping things all over. Finally found imgur, which makes it simple so now I can share all of my amazing 150 damage rounds in a locust 1E :)

Ignore Nick, he apparently has a chip on his shoulder about something.

Yes, the "My Media" function is disabled without anything to identify it as so. This was a source of consternation and frustration for me when I started here on the forums as well. Aside from hosting it on a third-party site and linking to it from the forum page, I do not know of any way to put your file on this forum.

Thank you for creating a condensed list of the quirks and for your willingness to share it with the rest of us!

*Side Note: For anyone reading this who may wish to put images in their posts, you must use third-party hosting for this as well. I use my Enjin profile while others use things like Tumblr or Photobucket. If you have a picture you want to share, right click on it, select "Copy Image URL," and then paste it into the image box that you get by clicking on the photo icon on the Reply Post Toolbar.

Post your junk on imgur, tinypic, youtube, etc. and embed. No hosting here.

If it's a flat text file pastebin is an option. I applaud your effort--I tried to convert the pdfs into a more useful text diff file and decided I didn't have enough confidence in the pdf to text conversion.

You can also save something to Google Drive and share a link to the file.

I for one would like to see a concise quirks list, so if you're willing to share, please do.

A third party program it is then. Gonna work over the list again and see if I can put it up at the weekend.

@Nick

Calm down man. I am pretty sure I know how to insult people. Have been doing it for the last days in the general discussion forum. Which might explain your reaction. But here I was just wondering if a function is disabled or if I am too stupid to use it. Turns out it was the former. Which makes the forums objectively bad.

There are tons of good reasons and opportunities to flame me. Pick a better one.

If you are trying to search for something I find it best to just use google and then search something like this "Mechwarrior Online cows and chickens", it usually finds it first.

I get a Norton warning when I try to look at your list.
