I have looked at most of the planets that are currenly attacked/defended and it seems I am the only FRR player!?!

DO I miss something?

I know the 1RDR and Isengrim had to wait a while before our Unit creators were able to get on and select a faction contract for us..

That's not quite accurate, no. Anyone can view the star map. I don't know how it works on the Faction players' side, but as a merc unit, you just can't participate until the unit leader chooses a faction to enter service with. Once I was able to come in and set us straight, we did a few rounds, got a few kills, learned a few things.

Like it so far, though there are a few annoying interface bugs that I'm looking forward to getting ironed out.

Took SoR some time to get our faction set, as our leader is on vacation. But we did end up having 2 12 man groups dropping to defend our homeland. Had a blast.

My Corp and I have taken a 7 day contract with the FRR in the interest of bloodying some Clan noses. Or Lizards. Either way, if anyone needs a single for a drop deck I'll be around.

EDIT: As a note, one of my colleagues described our contract with the FRR as "being chained to a sinking ship." I'd like to prove them quite wrong as I rather admire the tenacity with which your people won your freedom from the lizard men.

There's a few of us around. The thing is that many were kind of caught surprised so don't be alarmed just yet.

My unit basically does nothing else at the moment than trying to defend the republic. However, at the moment the CW is still so bugy that we sometimes have to try and try again for an hour or so to do a single drop.
One time we even where droped as attackers on our own planet, without an opposition, ending up giving a victory to the other side.
Good thing this is just a testrun and will be reset as soon as it goes out of beta (I hope).

Servus !

For participating in cw, I have accepted a 28 day contract to defend Rasalhage for my unit with the tag BoR :D

If you are a mercenary ( without a faction until now ) which is interested in participating in cw, you can contact ANYONE of our members with the BoR tag, as I have granted the privilege to invite new recruits to all members.

When I am online, you can usually find me in the
Austria channel of Comstar EU ( eu1.mech-connect.net no password ).

Feel free to drop into the FRR hub TS, several units are willing to give temp unit tags to pugs to allow team CW drops.

All FRR faction pilots are welcome.
