Sauron here, played on NYBT and founded and led the VWE team, both groups were Tesla II simulation pod based groups, also ran solo a lot, especially active in solaris.

FFPCNR was our favorite ladder, FFP the only way to play imo, always despised 3rd person view even being available.

I remember Barbaric Soul mostly from Solaris, grimlock magnus from his v8i days Gausdragon and DJ adler, shoutcasts rocked, with today's bandwidth and cpus, live feeds with twitch TV etc, wood be a hoot and a lot more fun to watch.

With private match setups now added, is it time for the rebirth of the MWL yet?

Played throughout the life of MWL mainly known as FEAR THIS and while in JL (justice league) was Capt Marvel. (RIP Brian) started MW in 99 playing on MS games .......

I've been following in the Shadows here for a few years... I started up purchasing the founders pack... but with work and life got busy, I just couldn't bring myself to play "casually", because when I was going to play, I wanted to be all in. Can't believe it's been over 2 years. I've been trolling again, considering a reboot finally to get back into the swing.

So thought I'd post here to bring this thread back.

I had a rather long history with MW...starting with 2... and right through Mercs... played with a lot of good people.. always as Rogue Angel.

Started a few small clans.. started the Flying Tigers... went to DHG, had some awesome times with with Uknown Soldiers (~US~), and even a short stint with Chaos, though it wasn't long after that life got the best of me.

So here I sit again.. thinking I need to get back in the cockpit. Come out of retirement. Get my *** handed to me like the good ol days. Still thinking about it...

When CW (community warfare, then faction warfare, now faction play) first started
I tried using the unit name Flying Tigers (I was in the Flying Tigers when I was active duty)
But I could not either taken or not allowed

So picked Flying Sharks (75th black section from active duty, aka Tiger Sharks)
