Question About Support Request

I put in a support request last week. I received a response later that day. That response asked me for feedback, so I responded almost immediately. I haven't heard anything back since then until I got another email today that started out with:

This is an email to remind you that your request has been pending for 5 days and awaits your feedback.

Like I said, I have definitely responded already. Am I doing something wrong? I assumed that if I replied to the email that it would be sufficient. I replied to today's email again just in case, but I thought it might be worth a question on the support forum to make sure I'm not dumber than I think and that I am, in fact, capable of successfully replying to an email.
