I have a confession. After a lengthy reflection, I've come to realize that I have frequently based the effectiveness of a build on the amount of rage from the other team. Sometimes that rage comes from my own team, and still, that kinda makes me lol... There, I said it.

So, what builds have you loved running that other people hate? super cheesy, one trick ponies, 32kph LRM boats, etc... Whats your favorite troll?

I'll go first with the ERPPC....Locust LCT-3M. There's just something about a little Locust coring out a timberwolf from 1200m, from around a corner, that just gives people small strokes. Usually results in "##### has disconnected" almost instantly.

Pretty much any of my LRM boats. I always feel a little guilty when I run them.

My Firestarter that really starts fires.

EDIT: The trick is, flamers work on an exponential curve in the heat they produce. Initially they produce virtually no heat, and if you chain fire two flamers it produces zero heat. Mainly, they are for blinding and trolling.

Oh god, actual flamers. EVERYBODY gets pissed when they see this build running amok, flaming everybody's shins.

Right now while AC2 ghost heat is gone, I am running a Direwolf with 6 X UAC2 haha. Not the most deadly of builds, but hilarious to see ppl panic when they are getting hit with that much dakka.

For me it's my 4x SRM2 Locust 3S. Stream of cockpit shake for any mech I decide to focus on. It doesn't do very poor damage either, my stats tell me it averages 200 per match and it's been rising fast lately. And the ammo supply isn't as bad as people make it out to be. The only problem... is ghost heat on SRM2's makes it impossible to maintain an extended engagement and I really hope PGI is considering tackling SRM2 heatscale after they finish with the AC2s.

5x Lrm5 Golden Boy Kentaro, between the perks and the LRM5 cool down module you get a annoying water hose of LRMs the entire match.

Be sure to yell "Hold locks for Golden Showers" at the beginning of each match for even more "trollrage".

OMG at the end of the match i get at least one of my team mates losing their mind spectating this thing. ah the times i have been told to just "uninstall the game" are priceless. running away chain firing lrm on timbers really gets them hot lol

how exactly does someone cram as much LRM into a huggin, as i fit into a catapult? Link us a build for these 2?

I did some experimenting, and from the results I got, the only way to have any armor at all, would be to bring only a single ton of ammo.
