Zero f*cks given.

+30% velocity is a huge benefit.

Yawn, not really. Anyone who did a 2 ERPPC build instead of a 3 ERPPC build isn't going to be hit too hard by this change to the heat. And the velocity increase just made it a more terrifying sniper at range.

Yes, sniper at range, not a fixed Anti tank-machinegun at range firing for 50% less heat. Its got a more reasonable amount at 11.25 heat for 10dmg and 30% more velocity.

I didn't so much agree with the urbs. The enforcer face though I'm on board but don't really care about that mech so much.

Urbs was great art, just not very Urbie in proportions. Figured speaking up (since it's a passion mech for most who purchased it) BEFORE going to the modelers was the best time.

I think the modelers overall usually do pretty good. But the Ice Ferret was a pretty horrible translation, as was the Mad Dog, and then I saw the head and right arm on the Enforcer? If they are going to pre sell these packs based off Alex's wonderful art, I think it's within our right as consumers to ride their butt about staying true to it.

Yes, and we will see that 1300 is about the perfect balance of needing to aim and lead and still moving fast enough to be worth something. Then I would hope we see those types of quirks on the CERPPC for atleast the SMR and WHK.

I think you might start seeing stuff more like this: http://mwo.smurfy-ne...0c8e1c28d222cae
Which is great in my book since that poor ballistic never got used.

Mid range, 2 ER PPC and 1 L.Laser.

Close range, 3 Mlasers, SRM4, L.laser.

Coup De Grace, 2 ER PPC, 1 L.laser, 3 Mlasers, 1 SRM4.

11.25 heat for 10 damage is reasonable? Even PPCs with 10 for 10 are too hot.

It's a crap weapon that needed extreme quirks to be useful. Now it's a crap weapon again and people will use something else. Woohoo.

only reason PPCs are "too hot" is the minimum range.

10 PP-FLD damage, no minimum range, great long range, great projectile velocity and no ammo?

Sounds about right, yeah.

Heck if that was the K2's quirk sheet, I'd be in freaking hog heaven.

Why not just drop to 2 ERPPC and toss in some heatsinks, will still work just as well.

I think this TDR-9S build will be good for it. upgrades the engine from a 280 to 300, keeps the same heat dissipation while sniping at the cost of dropping the third ERPPC (which didn't always hit because it had to lag behind by half a second) and gets 3 MLs for dealing with brawlers.

I'm cool with that. I've been running the 9S myself and i thought the quirks were way too powerful.

Aww, but how am I going to enjoy Clanner tears on the forum now? Schadenfruede is delicious!

 I don't even own a t-bolt; I just like watching the shoe being on the other foot for a change.

This is better against everything but stationary targets. If a Thunderbolt is allowed to spam enough for the heat change to really matter, he's fighting a really bad team. The speed is what really made them viable.

I'm good with these changes, it still has solid quirks and with better velocity it should be fine.

And you don't like these changes, then...

Can't wait for the tears to flow once more from the clam whiners once they realize how much better the velocity quirk is.

As many have said the Thunderbolt will evolve... meta ALWAYS evolves!

It'll still be a solid staple of my drop deck because it's projectile... laser hsr with my ping is still iffy... but we don't know what the Awesome 9M is getting quirkwise, it might pick up everything the Tbolt just lost... if so then you have 3 mechs (including Pather 10K) that still give huge ERPPC buffs, and I know my deck is gonna only get more "Thunder from Downunder" on yo asses!

I'd just like my true 15/15's back on my cERPPC's, I can keep the ghost heat, keep the speed nerf, I'd just like to have a second weapon that can do 15 FLD.... I mean the IS have two... and their two add up to 35 FLD....
