It should have Endo-steel, an engine and some weapons, with ammo if they are ammo based. Add heatsinks if you have spare room.

I hope this was helpful. ;)

The only quirks I've seen were for the LBX variant and . . . well . . . LBX is terrible, so I've been having a hard time thinking of anything.

I guess 10% general ballistic quirk is still usable but meh.

4R: AC10 + either a LL, or a couple ML's

5P: maybe 3-4 AC2's OR UAC5/AC5 + 2AC2's OR LBX10+3MG+LPL

5D: this one is ugh, sucks that this is the "hero" version... Maybe I will try AC5 + LPL + ML?

the 5D is the best variant, in my opinion.

Don't discount the LBX. If you save yourself for mid/end match that LBX can wreck internals on stripped armour. It's just a matter of bidding the time and supporting the team until it's time for LBX to shine.

True I have not much liked it before. In fact it table top my friends and I always used hole making munitions to shotgun spreaders. But I will give it another go around on a fast mech like the Enforcer.

The 5D could do this: http://mwo.smurfy-ne...f4c2f9caa0ce3d1
Just imagine the CT lasers in the left torso.

Like the others I'm not sure about the LB10x. But you could do a LB10X with two large lasers. That wouldn't be too bad. Or a large pulse and two medium lasers. So I think we got some options.

it can't do dual UAC/5 because unlike the Wang, it has a lower arm actuator, reducing available critical slots in the arm to 9.

LBX has a definitely time and place, but it's usually late in games. The trick is surviving long enough to get there. It's also fairly useful at very close ranges.

Awww, must have missed that. Well then, two AC5s wouldn't be terrible, though I suppose that would pale in comparision to the 5 ton heavier WVR-6R with it's 40% CD...

Too bad that you can not use normal AC ammo in a LBX ( like you can in Classic Battle Tech ! )

So in the end, regarding this mech (and others depending somewhat or fully on Ballistics). There should be an dmg increase for Machine guns, much bigger chance to crit and bigger crit dmg for the MG and LBX. Aaaand an updated look for the Enforcer.

What are you thinking of running in it?

Don't get me wrong, I think the LBX10 is fun, and it can be useful as a secondary weapon on heavies and assaults, but on mediums it is a waste of tonnage.

With the exception of the CN9-D. Of course that has ludicrous LBX quirks, as well as missile hardpoints for LRM5's that let me stay hidden behind the front line, keeping my armor pristine for that late game finishing push on all the mechs with exposed internals.

The Enforcer 5D has neither of these two things going for it.

Think of LBX as this game's pump action shot gun: little to no use at long range, very fun and very damaging at point blank range.

most likely XL255, endo, 2 LPL and an AC/5. ammo and jump jets up to personal preference.

may also give AC/10 plus 2 LL a try.

except at point blank range, a regular AC/10 is still better. the only thing the LB has going for it is its more forgiving nature in terms of aim. it's easier to get at least some damage in against a light if you're having problems hitting them with shells for whatever reason.
